I picked up a few things, but generally we're doing most of what you're doing; main thing is you keep your boat flatter than we keep ours, and you are much better at maintaining a heel than I am. My tacks are not as fluid as yours either, but I picked up a trick that might help me. full finger gloves help. I have some on order. See you in Eustis.
Jib lead needs to be aft on track, use more vang…as much as you dare to vang sheet and it keeps jib luff tighter as halyard stretches. And more cunningham down

Yep, I had to convert to full finger gloves a couple years ago. The short ones ride up and become useless.

Are speedometers now class legal?
No. The speedo is integrated into the video. David cannot see it while racing, but it shows up on the video as part of the processing.
You didn’t actually reef the main you just lowered it down. If you had a reef point and could reef the main upwind performance may improve
Yes, absolutely agree. However, we don't have reef points so this is the best we can do.
