  • Also known as Pleasure Reef (for some reason) Davey Crocker reef is halfway between Davis Reef to the North and Crocker Reef to the south. Although it's not a big reef by any means, it boosts tons of tropical life from small surgeon fish up to hammerhead sharks (my camera didn't cooperate, so I didn't catch it on film😢). The reef is right next to the drop off, so it gets flushed through with clean water constantly from the gulf stream. Surprisingly it has little to no current, making it for a fantastic beginner's reef dive. Only 2 mooring buoys reside on the site, and are numbered 4 and 5 as they are in correspondence to the Davis Reef Buoys.
