Getting ready for Valentines day already with our Love Spell Cold Process Soap! I like to use the Heat Transfer method for a couple of reasons. One, it's a much faster process, and two, it makes the temperature of the oils very easy to work with.

Hello, great video. I would like to try make soap for first time. Just a question if you don't mind...to make rye solution do I need just normal water and rye? Or how does it work. Sorry am a newbie

Hi Doreen! It is best to use a soap calculator to determine a safe amount of lye needed to make soap. The amount of lye needed will vary depending on what oils will be used and how much oils you use in a batch. I use distilled water for my lye solution as I know it does not contain any harmful bacteria or impurities. Soapcalc.net has a great soap calculator to use :) We will be posting a more in depth video in the near future for a basic soap recipe and tutorial!
