How To Build A Dosatron Biocide Dosing Box

- In this video, I show you how to build a homemade Dosatron biocide dosing box saving you around £280.00. The dosing box is for applying biocide on roofs after they have been cleaned and other Softwash applications. The Dosatron mixes the chemical to the exact percentage required and only uses tap pressure so no power is needed.
It's an easy build and only a few basic tools are needed. Below is a complete list of the items needed (some are affiliate links), how much they were including postage and where I got them from.

Nice vid, thanks. Bear in mind though, that if you hook a Dosatron up to the mains water here in the UK, you will need to add a WRAS approved check valve on the cold feed side of the Dosatron 👍 Only another few pounds

The video I’ve been waiting for!! Thanks dave! So does the dosatron just work off the tap pressure and you get the right mix through your hose on the outlet? That’s ingenious!

Mine came with the bracket. You should ring the supplier and tell them it was missing

Sorry I don't know the D3RE10. you would be best checking the owners manual or contacting Dosatron.

I wondered if you had any thoughts or cold maybe do a follow up video now you’ve been using your Ionics Constant Flow system for gutter and sofit washing for over a year. Any thoughts, How’s it held up? Would you buy it again? Curious, as I really respect your opinion and I’m looking in to getting into this now too.

🤣🤣🤣I’m just about to send it back to Ionics as it’s broken down. When it’s working it’s a great piece of kit when it’s working but over priced. Think I would recommend a backpack

Yes I Still use it. I don't do a lot of roofs now but there are a few that have been scrapped a few years ago that need re treating that im doing.

Great Build Dave what do think about putting Hypo through it as I don't really use Biocide anymore 🤔
You need a different Dosatron for hypo which is about twice the price

@@completeexteriorcleaningse750 I use a wheelie bin with a tap in the bottom and all measured on the inside, then hook it up to the Clarke Stainless Steel pump @ 60LPM and job done in an hour.
Hi was there any space left in the box to fit a small tank?
It would have to be a very small one but they do sell other sized boxes
