Archer's personality makes a lot more sense when you play the VN, and realize how much sarcasm runs around in Shirou's mind. Archer is basically Shirou who stopped giving a fuck.

I like to think instead that this is actually just more typical of kings than people generally think. There is a very long list of incidents where members of Royalty acted extremely childishly since people generally had to indulge their behavior. I forget who it was exactly, but there was a German King who got an angry letter from the Pope because his wife kept writing him letters complaining about how he preferred playing with his toy soldiers rather than sleeping with her.
Okay, I giggled at this for a little. But I want to ask, does Hollow Ataraxia worth reading? I’m kinda curious about this vn, but this is a sclice of life and as far as I know there’s not much lore and plot.
the vn has like two separate parts, you choose who you talk to during the day and eventually after doing the more major parts (the dialogues with "!" iirc) the main story will move forward on it's own, and you don't have to be afraid about missing out slice of life scenes from going through the main story directly, you can do those anytime
