The Knitting PT just released a kit that includes a wrist brace and some hand exercise materials. Maybe check that out instead of the compression gloves. I tried it and my hand felt secure but not restricted.
I’m so glad the designer was able to help you with the top. I was wracking my brain like how do you fix this?! Lol. But I haven’t made that construction before so didn’t want to give advice.
I def think I need to make one of those pillows in my extra blossom cakes yarn for my cousin. So cute!
