Crystal Jow creates a fully generative scene using a Leap Motion sensor. She shows you how to draw on screen and create beautiful composites using finger position, feedback loops, compositing techniques, as well as using gestures from the Leap Motion to control additional functionality. A great video for new users of TouchDesigner looking to create great content quickly and easily!

It is pretty wild how long Leap Motion has been around without a hardware update, unlike Kinect's and RealSense. Great to put it back to use!

    Fascinating stuff.
Is it possible to draw using the Leap Motion in a 3D field ?

Absolutely! You could grab the Z channels and use those in interesting ways. You could turn the whole environment into a 3D environment or you could give the illusion of depth by using the Z channel for size of your brush strokes or effects.

No luck with ultraleap Leap2, on Mac - Does Touchdesigner LeapMotion CHOP not support this??

From what I've gathered, the UltraLeap Leap 2 should be supported, but according to a forum post:
"In the latest versions of TouchDesigner, the Leap Motion library is no longer included directly so you’ll need to point the node to the correct installation folder. There are some instructions here: docs.derivative.ca/Leap_Motion_CHOP"
