I understand not putting Freddie's HR on that list, but I just can't understand Gibson in'88 not being there. It's wasn't just a walk-off homerun in game 1 of the WS. - BOTH of his legs were bad. Every pitch you could plainly see how much pain he was in. That was his only at bat the entire series. - Gibby was already the MVP that year. He came to the Dodgers and helped turn the team around from a last place team to a first place team. - It was an epic 7 pitch at bat where he was down 0-2 and kept fouling the ball off. - It was off the greatest reliever in the game. - The A's were heavy favorites in that series.. - Fat Tommy Lasorda running out of the dugout with his hands in the air - And to top it all off, Vin Scully was doing the play-by-play. If looking at it in a vacuum it's easy to say it's not as "big" of a moment because it's only game 1, but if you include all of the other factors it surpasses those other moments because it is a better story. All the other games are great sporting moments or elite performances, this one was a Hollywood script come to life. Bob Costas' telling of that game is fantastic. He includes all the details of Gibby taking practice swings in the hallway behind the dugout and grunting after every swing, telling Tommy Lasorda he thinks he has one good swing left in him. Perhaps Costas is embellishing, who knows, but it's a great story none-the-less.
I find the Gibson comparison ignorant and disrespectful. I think LA fans like to over grandiose their moments. Freeman had a triple in Game 1 for God sakes 💀 Gibson could barely walk.
Judge has .150 career post season batting average. I am not watching the game a lot because my Steelers are on. This team is not even close to the 96 team.
This dude is a clown, doesn't even get the "Gibby meet Freddie" quote correct, but the Kirk homerun is arguably top 5 sports moments of all time across all sports.
Yes, there is "something that screams out 'The Yankees can't win'" It's Aaron Judge's complete implosion at the plate this postseason. He's putty in the hands of elite pitching.
You heard it here first, it’s unlikely the series goes back to LA. He thinks the Yankees could win in 3 games. Make sure not to tighten that bow tie too tight buddy
Ken saying all it takes is 1 win to take the momentum is funny he must of been asleep lately. SD had LA down 2-1, and owned LA all season so clearly they had the momentum right? LA had NYM 3-1 and Mets respond by destroying LA to force a game 6, so clearly they stole the momentum going into that game right? Man, each game is its own thing. Aint over till one team has 4 cmon now.
Why are you putting this on aaron judge??? Hes the leader and he has never sounded negative. Its a team and there is no need to put more pressure on him. As a dodger fan, when bellinger had a slump, we still cheered him on and they won it in 2020. There are alot of SUCKY yankee players at the moment. Its a team sport. Even if judge was hot, the other players need to step up
You keep saying if we go back to LA. It’s already guaranteed to go back to LA if the Yankees win two of the three games. The only way it won’t go back to LA if the Dodgers win two out of the three in New York.
I need Yankees tie the series so I can have better payout on betting Dodgers win WS. No matter what, Dodgers win WS. Those so called baseball experts are laughable at the best.
@nickr3441 Joe Carter's is definitely top MLB moment, had that Toronto squad with Bautista won the World Series maybe, but definitely not if you don't get a chip.
@miltonsantiago6086 it was more bc the 2 teams hated eachother. IMO, this WS is kinda boring bc their is no rivalry. Sure, MLB got what they wanted but it's boring.
not insurmountable…? rosenthal sounds delusional …dodgers have all the momentum …& stats show first 2 games won gives team 84% chance of winning entire series …anything can happen in baseball …but as long as dodgers can contain Soto & Stanton …Yankees going down
Placing a bat flip against one of the greatest homeruns in baseball history is WILD.
He won't include a World Series game 1, but will include a division series game? Lame.
He's a biased journalist.
Dodgers win the WS and this guy:
I know the yankees lost, but they still have a chance to take this in game 9...
I understand not putting Freddie's HR on that list, but I just can't understand Gibson in'88 not being there. It's wasn't just a walk-off homerun in game 1 of the WS.

thanks for raining on our parade...
Coming back to NY might help Judge, but that’s being optimistic. As a baseball fan, I’m rooting for a game 7, & a NY ring tbh
Freddie Freeman is the greatest baseball player of all time!
great show and awesome insight during this busy time for KR. Appreciate ya!
Weak list Ken
great show!
Let's Gooooooo Dodgers. We are getting a W tonight
Good episode but a minor correction: dodgers didn’t sweep the 88 world series, they won in 5.
Dodgers in 4. Why not?
Tonight’s score 5-3. Go Dodgers!
It’s top 5 and everyone knows it. Series deciding? No. But it’s a list of “moments” and that was a heck of a moment
Joe Carter 1993 WS. Walk off to win the series.
that was a badass at-bat...
Let's go Dodgers 💙🤍
They not like us 👊 ⚾ 💯
He said "Gibby meet Freddie", dude LOL
thanks, man.
Correction Ken. Dodgers did not sweep. They won 1988 in 5. Big fan.
Judge has .150 career post season batting average. I am not watching the game a lot because my Steelers are on. This team is not even close to the 96 team.
Crazy to even compare the two teams. Those 90s and 2000s Yankees would destroy this team. They aren't done by any means but it's an uphill battle.
yankees in '24 are litterally batters 4 to 6. that's it.
Shohei is such a threat even though he not putting up MVP numbers in the WS. His mere present alone scares team.
Anything can happen, that’s what makes Baseball ⚾️ Great
This injury will have beneficial value. More discipline & limit his chase
Freeman homerun won them the game when there was 2 outs and bottom of the 10th lol.
Judge will hit two home runs tonight 👍💪
Na, but Ohtani will!
This dude is a clown, doesn't even get the "Gibby meet Freddie" quote correct, but the Kirk homerun is arguably top 5 sports moments of all time across all sports.
💯
I hit pause, wrote this comment and will soon close the video. Not listening to the rest of it after Gibson's HR is not above Batista's bat flip.
Joe bautista bat flip??? Over kirk gibsons moment? Wow..this guy is a joke
What about Joe Carter?
one of the GOAT WS moments
Yes, there is "something that screams out 'The Yankees can't win'" It's Aaron Judge's complete implosion at the plate this postseason. He's putty in the hands of elite pitching.
Was a Ken fan, till this video...
They didn’t sweep in 88. They won in 5 games
You heard it here first, it’s unlikely the series goes back to LA. He thinks the Yankees could win in 3 games. Make sure not to tighten that bow tie too tight buddy
Why why bring up historical game over 50-60 years ago those never had a Judge or Ohtani....
Ken saying all it takes is 1 win to take the momentum is funny he must of been asleep lately. SD had LA down 2-1, and owned LA all season so clearly they had the momentum right? bellinger wasn't the captain. and captains, like judge, lead by example. he's not leading very well. he sucks ass. and you know it.
The Ohtani injury and their 9th inning bases loaded could've been the turning point but... it's over.
Let me guess you were one of the Yankees fans that was happy when Ohtani went down huh?
You keep saying if we go back to LA. It’s already guaranteed to go back to LA if the Yankees win two of the three games. The only way it won’t go back to LA if the Dodgers win two out of the three in New York.
1996 different Yankees against a weaker team
Are you saying the Braves were a weak team? Far from it! The 96 team was special! The 98 team was super special!
@@Tbird1549 I am saying power wise against the dodgers they were
That’s a weak list…. That moment was a top 5 no matter what. Amazing moment
I don't remember ANY of your top 5.
I need Yankees tie the series so I can have better payout on betting Dodgers win WS. No matter what, Dodgers win WS. Those so called baseball experts are laughable at the best.
Ken’s list is an absolute joke.😂😂😂😂
A bat flip over Gibby’s home run. Ok, Ken.
Jealous?

@@nickr3441 Jealous of what? Lmao
And to say the Dodgers - Yankees are not rivals shows how low your baseball IQ is. 🤣
@@nickr3441 Who's bringing up this world series? We are specifically arguing against putting Bautista bat flip over Kirk Gibson's walk off.
2 more in Bronx. Go Dodgers!
Terrible list Ken, other than that you rock. Thanks for all the great content
Crazy comparing this Yankees team to any of those in the past. Missing so many pieces.
Can't wait for season to be done. HOCKEY!
Does anyone else find Ken’s post game interviews weird ? Guy gives off weirdo vibes 😂
How tf are you forgetting about pete alonso this year, down to final out against devin williams, 3 run bomb, joey bats hr is so overrated
10 - 1 Dodgers win G3.
not insurmountable…? rosenthal sounds delusional …dodgers have all the momentum …& stats show first 2 games won gives team 84% chance of winning entire series …anything can happen in baseball …but as long as dodgers can contain Soto & Stanton …Yankees going down
LFG JUNIOR!!!
Dodger haters 😂😂
Dumb list…
Certified hater
Ken is the biggest tool in MLB. Keep looking Ken, you'll find some journalistic integrity some day. NOT
