Thank you for your inspiring video. My burp bids turned out great. Though I did not do the center line. I sewed a second trip around the outside but an inch more inward. Thank you so much.

I put terry towel material on the backside of mine as it absorbs more liquid. Also the terry cloth will wipe the mouth better than the material.

Great tutorial! I appreciate you showing how to make that curve around the neck. It had me a little baffled on how to do that so you helped me a lot. I am going to try using a tea towel on one side - I'll see how that goes. I feel like that will be more absorbent than flannel but will use flannel for decorative side. Thinking will be easier to sew than terry. I'll soon see! Fingers crossed.

Great video, but I do agree with a previous commenter. I live in an area with four season. Frixion pens do not disappear forever. Only in warm weather or climate. Ask me how I know, lol. Love the video help, thanks so much!

Thank you for watching. Cotton flannel is my pick. It is soft, absorbent and washes really well. Happy sewing - Cindy

Cotton flannel is soft and looks cozy but just smears the spit up. I had four spitters!

Why do you need to round the corners?

  • @jleedw

Certain material will just smear the spit up. Gauze or terry is more absorbent with any other fabric on the other side

24 inches by 81/2 inches. The neck curve 11/2 on the side and just eyeball the length mark

Those pins are awesome but the bad thing is the mark comes back if it’s in a cold place 😱

Thank you for stopping by! The original pens are called Heat Erasable Pens. The big brand name pen is Frixon, but mine are from China here is the link: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MM9D25S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They really are awesome! I've heard sometimes dark colors have a shadow that remains so always test. Happy Sewing - Cindy
