I was praying one night, and i didn't know exactly what praying in the spirit meant because i am a baby christian, and i asked God to help me pray in the spirit and the holy spirit came over me and i started praying in tongues. This sermon was helpful because sometimes i had to drag myself to pray, and other times im like, but i dont sound like i am praying properly in tongues. Also, [prayerstorm] has inspired me to pray in tongues as well and to pray more in general.

One of the ways I have found about "not having the time" problem is to do praying in the Spirit anytime and anywhere, especially, when I am walking, doing a task I really don't want to do, like washing dishes or clothes, driving, in a traffic jam, waiting for buses or trains, waiting on the line, etc. My thinking is that God is everywhere. He can hear me anywhere and everywhere. I don't necessarily have to pray loud for God to hear me. I don't have to let someone knows I am praying, It is between me and MY FATHER.

i have noticed 4 things the devil attacks furiously in the life of a believer: sex-bc in the covenant between one man and one woman this power from God produces more people aka soldier for the kingdom of God; money bc with wealth the gospel gets preached across the world and lifts people out of misery and poverty; fasting bc this takes one out of his or her own physical strength and depends on the supernatural power of God Almighty and so our spirit man become strong in Gods power during fasting; lastly tongues and of man does the devil hate the supernatural gift of the Holy Spirit and the most successful rout the devil has had against this gift/power has been through the church itself! So sad but those who have had enough faith to receive the gift of praying in tongues must continue in it and also to pray for the rest of the believers that they too will reach the point of faith to receive it. I got my tongue when my daughter died. God give it to me to comfort me and strengthen me. I have been using my gift for almost a year now.
