This is pretty much how it would go down the elves had better archers and better cavalry then the dwarves they only relied on their tough armor to protect them for their size

So much for the stubbornness of Dwarves, the elves gave them the meat, and gave it to them raw. Crap grand tact from the Dwarves. They should have chosen a rough terrain spot to fight the elves, so that cavalry wouldn’t be as affective.

at the beginning, the dwarves should not leave their fortress which was impregnable from the outside, to the interior of which there were only two roads, one of which was closed and the other led through the bridge where Gandalf fell into the abyss, and if they had to go outside the stronghold, they should choose a difficult area where the cavalry would it meant nothing
Only thing about this battle is the mithril is already in khazad dum so the elves would have to siege and cavalry and archers would be of significant less value as they're the ones that essentially won the battle here.

This video would deserve a like if the strategy was really current on the dwarf side.
To make the dwarves look like grunts who have no strategy, I find it distressing and disrespectful for this race where war is an inovating ground for the overabundance of technological strategy.
I put a red thumb because the scenario is too pro-elven.
I thought the same. The dwarves are inventers. I'm sure they would have better weapons and/or tactics to deal with the calvary.
@@alt7244 It's silly to put classic infantry against heavy units and stupidly expose dwarf crossbowmen in front of infantry.
I also add the fact of putting the dwarves in front of archery that shoots salvo piercing armor while walking.
I also add that they don't have any strategy, even they are made to look stupid during battles because of the lotr series.
don't forget that dwarves are stronger than elves without magic and stronger than orcs if all dwarf houses are united, but this is also the case if the dwarves of the grey mountains and the iron mountains support erebor in his quest for diplomatic expansion is open to men and not so much to elves.

So is the outcome decided before the game is even played? It appears the dwarfs lack even the most basic tools to wage war. Their crossbows didn't even get showed participating in the second phase of battle. Dislike from me.
