I have a theory too, that may tie into this theory. So like how it is mentioned that red calamity energy was used to power golden ranger, juggernaut and mine layer, so I think that this left awakened faction with less red calamity energy. But when we defeated void, we did not take his energy (at least no tower has the purple void energy, toxicnator bottom path is considered gas damage here.) So either the awakened took defeated void's energy, giving them power of tower possession, or in case Dr. Xenon made engineer or the wretched, she took the void energy and used it to do so. what do you think?
Wait i got a theory, hear me out! What if GDA , DR.XENON and THE AWAKENED are ALL WORKING against US, THE PLAYER! i mean, it would make sense. Assembly line shows eradicators. Maybe that wasn't an old factory, maybe that was shut down because they wanted to keep a façade! It makes sense! The player has power over all troops. It also explains why GDA doesn't fund like infinite millions to each one of us.
So technically we are the villains? 25:15, I don't think they corrupted the relics, meaning the relics started fighting the calamity after GDA defeated most of them (the calamity). I say this because the guy who created the concept art for the relic tower said that they stole things from the calamity (It's because relics are the protectors of nature, it may be that they didn't have a physical form). 21:53, I also want to mention that I think the soldier who fought the calamity and ended up being part of them was us, since this is said in the defeat screen (although this theory is more far-fetched and probably not true) There are 2 things I also want to say, and that is that there were 2 Eradicator MK 4, the first one was the one we fought in endless mode, and the second one was the one that fought the wretched. Maybe the awanked appeared at the same time or after we defeated the scout calamity, but they decided not to start the war with GDA since they were too weak. The engineer collected parts of machines and robots from both sides (GDA and Doctor Xenon) to build his suit and the wretched suit. And when the wretched was ready to start the war against the GDA, the second Eradicator MK 4 saw him and they started the fight, resulting in the wretched being the winner. But the fight made the wretched weaker and he couldn't rebuild himself since the war against GDA had already started. Nice video anyways.
The Awakened definitely aren't innocent however, considering that their primary method of recruiting appears to be be brainwashing people into mindless drones that walk headfirst into bullets without a second thought (also Engineer stealing the precious thing)
Once I saw the name of chapter 4 final boss, I immediately realized what mkiv first meant by saying: SAW THE WRETCHED SPAWN IN HALF. Dude this guy literally got memory, he crushed the time itself by his first music version appearing earlier in both game and irl than the actual Wretched. This guy warned us about the upcoming hell, but no one cared because everyone listened to him wrong. This is insane lore for a tower defence game! Now I respect MKIV instead of making fun of him for failing to destroy my warships quick enough. MKIV will now be the smartest known eradicator in TDX for now. MKIV, sorry but I couldn't have saved you.
I was thinking this too, while I was playing chapter 4 I was listening to hellspawn in the background and when the lyrics said "Saw the wretched, spawn in half" I started thinking about a possible connection between the music and the boss of chapter 4
One thing about chapter 2 is that the game specifically mentions that Factorium is one of Dr Xenon's factories which got overran by the Awakened so the Engineer could use it for his creations and experiments. I believe only Chapter One is set elsewhere, as they have a Void Orb that was corrupted, similar to those in Tower Battles while Chapter 2 is in our world and its portal was linked to the other world, as per the Calamity rune floating over it.
For the “soldier” they were referring to, multiple people could be the “soldier” 1. The player 2. Eradicator mark 2 3. Eradicator mark 4 4. Apex predator 5. Golden juggernaut ( Note that predator was not here, bcuz he was either too weak to fight the corruption or didn’t try to fight it at all ) 1. The player, because when we lose a game, the player will become zombified or corrupted. When we play another game, we are probably using the perspective of another clone of ourselves. This means we might have to fight our corrupted clones later in the storyline. 2. Eradicator mark 2 probably also tried to fight the corruption, as it still had a few miniguns and a very small amount of armor( its helmet to be specific )left in itself. 3. Eradicator mark 4 tried to defeat the wretched, but it’s attempt was not successful and it was probably corrupted or destroyed. 4. Apex predator was already mentioned. 5. Golden juggernaut probably also tried to fight the corrupted, but died and became corrupted while on a mission to take out the awakened.
Random theories: -Eradicator mk4 are likely mass produced by Dr Xenon, there’s already 3-4 mk4 we’ve meet so far (the 2 dead ones on maps, endless one and the likely one who perished against the wretched -The relics are likely a neutral faction, don’t interfering with anyone just doing their things, till the awakened likely attacked them and decided to join us to dealt with them
That mass produced theory kinda makes sense if you consider post-wave 80 canon. There is one in 103, another in 110, the speedy one in 121, two in wave 130 and 137, and the golden one in 150.
Every eradicator is mass produced except mk1C, since some of them are appear before wave 80 in endless But this is weird, because it means that there are at least 2 plague doctors? Endless is weird for lore
it would make sense for MK4's to be more than one or the song doesnt make all too much sense, given he shouldn't be able to tell us about a fight with the wretched when he already lost to it. Meanwhile it being him recalling it as what he witnessed would make a bit more sense
"SAVE ME!" "SAW THE WRETCHED SPAWN IN HALF" (my theory is that mk4 is actually helping us and he wanted us to end the awaken calamity which makes sense for him to have 2 kind of theme where it's hellspawn part 1 and the clean version, the part 1 is "saw the wretched spawn in HALF" and clean one being, "MARCH ON FORWARD, BRING THEM HELL! STRIKE THEIR TOWERS, WATCH THEN FALL!" including the word "save me") (my second theory is that xenon also created the Multipliers before malory was sacrificed to the Calamity rock which makes sense for Redacted to be clones when the scout(calamity) spawns them)
MK IV was most likely mass produced due to his high destructive power, safe to assume they are guarding important bases from intruders or taking out important targets. Also MK III is propably on a vacation during the events of this, or swiming in the ocean since I heard he was designed for aquatic combat, as we see there is not much water in this event. I think it is safe to assume MK III is somewhere in the ocean minding his own business. Or he could be Xenons personal bodyguard.
@@handakin I don't think the GDA owns any. They all contain human remains inside of them, pretty counter intuitive for a GLOBAL MILITARY ATTEMPT, don't you think? I personally don't think the GDA ever had a hand in the Eradicator development, and GDA tech just simply looks so similar because it was likely pulled from Dr. Xenon's inventions.
Another factor to the resource stealing are the golden towers. They all revolve around a weapon with a red crystal core, such as top path g ranger, bottom path g mine layer, and top path g jug.
Personally I think MKIV was a weapon designed specifically to fight the calamity and its subfactions. The song for MK IV describes destroying the wretched spawn, which correlates towards the Wretch in chapter 4. Another detail is how it might be possible that MK IV doesn't use calamity energy to power itself, as opposed to almost every other one of Dr. Xenon's creation. We can infer this, because other eradicators will do what I believe is called a overheat conversion, where it uses the energy from the damage dealt against itself to repair and enrage itself. MK IV doesn't do that, and instead just sheds his armor to make a run for it. Also, MK IV ends up collapsing in on itself, as opposed to the other eradicators, or Apex Predator, who die or retreat to a core failure. Another interesting detail is the artillery gun it has on its back. We know it can deal insane damage, with one hit decimating a battleship, but in Chapter 3 we use a even bigger artillery gun to destroy the Citadel. The citadel could be similar to Calamity in terms of durability, seeing as they come from similar origins and are mountain-like. Also, side theory, I think the plague doctors are a offshoot of the relics.
Im pretty sure plague doctor was just one of doctor xenon’s creations to defeat a small division of the gda or possibly zombify the conscripts via its gun that shoots out gases, same for revived plague doctor being stronger and doing actual damage with its scythe and black gas, symbolising some sort of zombie plague that probably zombifies towers on death. Plague doctor actually could’ve been a failed attempt at zombifying our towers since he deals no dmg (im aware hes an ez mode boss, but it could still make sense) and instead was a successful necromancer once being, ironically brought back from the dead. But your plague doctor theory could have some sort of connection like the plague doctor using relics energy to bring back the dead!
Yo this story is actually fire, and the lore can mostly be found via the game itself. I like how much detail the team puts into the game, it allows for great discussion and creativity surrounding the game such as this.
21:17 Nah, I think that mk 4 broke his armour and ran away, back to Xenon to get repaired, cuz if he says that in the past tense, it means he fought The Wretched before the event of endless.
@lorddumb21 Maybe Xenon also attacked the awaken for their ressources, sent her newest mech, MK IV, and when he came back to our realm, she stopped attaking them, to prevent big losses like she almost did.
21:00 that is so unbelievably beatifull part, i was fr shacking, i never put something in erad's song, erad mk 4 was and will be forewer best enemy of the entire game for me🙏
I think you're wrong here since it is the defeated screen, and if I we're to recall, wasn't there an unknown tower in the trailer that tried to fight against the awakened but inevitably lost horribly due to their numbers? But I do suspect that it could've been one of us the "commanders" of the defense
That unknown tower was the refractor, I thought they would add him when the helloween event drops since he was in the trailer but I guess there waiting for more stronger bosses as John said that the war machine and refractor are really op so they will first create stronger enemies then release them@@Christalyz
@@Christalyzbut I don't think it's the refractor that the wretched mentioned because we did not see the corrupted version of him. It's probably Us or golden juggernaut
21:38 ,the one that actually taunts the player is Apex Predator, because in The Taunting OST,there is a line that said"Yes,I Am,Apex Predator" and maybe the soldier he is talking about is the Golden Juggernaut in the trailer who got jumped by the Villager's
Also the enemy with the tall neck is called Tarnished Clergyman,he heals enemies around him by (???) Hp,and reduces tower's firerate by 15% around him,the enemh with glue on his eyes is called Zealot(not Zealot from The Relic tower)
5:26 to explain/elaborate on this specifically, (atleast the weapons part) i think the reason they are using more "medieval" weapons is because they are just villagers. their minds have been basically corrupted and i dont think they are 100% in control of what they are doing. same thing with the other enemies and even some of the bosses. they arent 100% conscious so they are probably incapable of weilding a weapon (like a rifle) unless its basically welded to them (like the engineer.) idk thats js a theory lol
The calamity army kinda reminds me of the Colossal Titans that cause the Rumbling in Attack on Titan. Maybe something similar can happen where it could possibly end the world?
I theorize the eradicator MK4 in endless and the one that fought the wretched are the same, this would make sense due to the music in endless having those lines, xenon could have retrieved a memory chip, or she may have a memory transfer device ( wouldn't be surprised if she had one ) to transfer its memory to a new suit. - But this does not mean MK4 isn't mass produced in xenon's faction ( meaning it could be a different one ) as Eradicator MK4 is technically the most easy to produce as MK4 is the only modular Eradicator, as we can see with MK4 when he goes into base rush phase where his armor looks like it was actually Thrusted off by forcing the modules off, instead of it breaking off, a claim supporting MK4 being modular is that not even a cyborg mech would have the reaction time to think to run when its all of its armor breaks off in one whole, meaning it has to just be forced off/programmed into the eradicator to do that function to increase efficiency and up the chances that the eradicator breaches your base. - The Base Rush Phase Eradicator MK4 can be seen as the most easily produced due to mainly just having Light steel/titanium armor and a visor, no weapons, meant to be a last resort to increase mobility heavily to damage the base and most possibly sacrifice itself as the only thing in Base Rush Phase Eradicator MK4's goal is to ignore all obstacles and only focus on the base - This concludes that Eradicator MK4 is the most easily produced, but the most cost efficient as well as material efficient, and that many more can be produced.
Note: I believe back in tower battles it was called the GDI (Global Defense Initiative). This implies that the initiative either evolved into or was disbanded after the void was defeated and replaced by the GDA.
I love how majority of the event is just Doom References. For one, the beams up into the sky making some sorta demonic symbol like the citadel in Chapter 3 and 4 or the Scorched map resemble that of which is Argent Tower or Nekroval in both 2016 and Eternal. Next are Heretic and Engineer’s dialogue in Nightmare. Heretic takes lines from Deag Ranak in Eternal, while Engineer takes a few lines from Marauder which is also in Eternal. Show’s how much love John has for the Doom franchise.
and the fact that the song that appears in the music video talk about the wretched, while the actual bossfight song that plays in game talks about killing our towers maybe dr xenon, seeing how the calamity was about to become incredibly powerfull, programmed a special mk IV to be aggresive towards the wretched, not the GDA
I think main reason why Dr. Xenon betrayed GDA because she simply hates the propaganda, and maybe how GDA rules with its power I think so because some of her lines from last year xmas event and some pieces of lore during Tower Battles event
never expecting a whole halloween event to be part of a roblox game's actual lore. 21:50 maybe apex predator? cuz he got corrupted after trying to fight them
Nah It's The Eradicator mk IV, Because He Is Trying To Fight The Corruption While Try To Fight The Wretched Him Self, But I Think What Wretched Say "and ended up become one of them" Mean He Ended Up Dead
In endless mode he has a line "You are not supposed to be here" wich- may be just used as a info to the player that they got far but he says that on wave like 140, endless has 200 waves. Sooo maybye he is in some way "helping" idk xenon
@@helicoptergaming822 Good point, as i said that text might be just an "information" to the player that "they are not supposed to be here", not so far into the game
Honestly the way he just knows about every single enemy beforehand, and that dialog line too makes him suspicious, also he's shocked by some enemies like redacted showing up, he def knows alot
@@JostDraws He probably knows most enemies because they've fought them before, which is why he is so shocked to see things like the REDACTED in combat, since they haven't ever faced off before. Dialogue in Intermediate regarding the Revived Boss 1 Implies that either the Advisor has been around since the Tower Battle period, or has access to GDA records. While this is a much more logical interpretation, I don't believe that this should let the Advisor off of the hook.
ay thats my picture in 7:42 anyway really good theory and i think that the soldier could have been apex predator as he fought against the corruption however am still a bit confused on the line "yes. i am apex predator" in the taunting.
sorry for spamming stuff, but when MK4 is screaming all that stuff, I think it is a message to Dr. Xenon. At the end with his final breath, he is saying "save me" after he had beaten up the wretched but had his mask ripped off and he was killed by the wretched grabbing his head and squeezes it so hard he died, I know this because you can see a head that looks like it is screaming for help.
22:09 I think the traitor is either the medic tower, or advisor. The medic has a REVIVED PLAUGE DOCTOR SKIN, an enemy that the GDA could not have made replicas of (not like the Eradicator skins) and Advisor also says “You aren’t supposed to be here.” In endless.
NGL the not supposed to be here line kinda makes me think the advisor is suspicious, also the way he knows EVERY single monsters information, and even when redacted shows up he's surprised, he knows all of them
@@JostDraws every single monster's info can be chalked up to him simply having fought them before, or studying up on records (aside from calamity based enemies) as for the "You're not supposed to be here" line, anything past wae 80 isn't cannon, and this line could only be found by skipping past wave 140, which was where the game forcibly cut off due to it lacking more waves at the time
Hey man If you really pay attention of the death animations of each towers in the game, theres one tower that have the symbol of the Calamity, heres a tip this symbol can be found on the 3rd up grade path like 3-0 or 0-3 goodluck
i think if tdx would do a collab with tds awakened fallen king, nuclear monster, and void reaver, would be enteties with a runic symbol. also lord exo could be behind some of the corruption, seeing as fragments or the entire god cube could make people more evil and more powerful. also narrator couldve got a taste of the god cube as well, and also the masqeruade couldve been a force like the calamity or the relics. also accelerators might draw there power from another entetie symbol beacuse a lot of accel skins have a circle or something similar under their hood.
Nice video, however I will say a lot of this is based off some pretty long stretches such as the Eradicator MK4 theme. As far as I know, the Erad MK4 theme was made before the Wretched was even conceptualized. Also, the dead MK4s are probably just decoration.
I think the deceased MK4's shouldn't be looked into so much, beyond maybe the one in the lobby. We all know John and his team were under heavy time constraints the entire halloween event, so they're likely just reused assets for GDA/Xenon mechs. I doubt ANY eradicator was made more than once in canon. The story views them more as characters, instead of enemy types, so that should be how the playerbase views them. This is proven by the fact MK1C isn't simply a new iteration of MK1, but a repaired variant of MK1, when he could've easily been, well, not that. Additionally MK4's song lyrics may be a simple coincidence, because the track was originally created as fanmade song for Doom Eternal, and the Roblox-Censored version of Hellspawn doesn't even try to retain the same meaning as its YT counterpart. Also: As to who created the Engineer, he was likely a "lesser" construct or entity of the awakened who quite literally made himself stronger through scavenging the remains of both Xenon and the GDA's forces: the tallied shoulder plate probably isn't his. The Wretched, similarly, is an awakened original. We know the awakened are smart enough to make tanks, dreadnoughts, revive the mechs of Xenon, and even build a mechanical suit for The Wretched, so it's not out of the question for the Wretched to simply be an external factor. Finally: The Taunting's mentioning of a traitor is probably in it of itself a taunt. He's calling the losing player a traitor to the GDA.
@@Brickcyn I don't see how. Do you really think the TDX team would think this far in for lore in time constraints? It's a purely logical approach. Unless you believe it's more logical to coincide a song from Eight Months Ago to an event we KNOW was developed nigh' on the spot towards its later chapters.
@@Brickcyn I do. I think you should understand that lore is a matter of planning and as a writer it's hard to tie everything together intentionally. You can't just assume everything connects. That's not theory crafting. That's conspiracy.
As for the traitor i feel like it could xwm since in the 2nd chapter the engineers emp knockouts every mechanical suit or machine potentially meaning they could be infected but they just dont know it yet. Probably in future there could be a dreadnought xwm with great power and great risk further proving the wretcheds point on us stealing material from them like we did with calamity for the golden suits. But hey its just a theory after all📖
Since there's different calamity's what if relic is from one of the calamities, a good version of calamity or something like a green calamity that protects nature and for some reason doesn't like the other calamities cuz theyre eevil
How come the Awakened are a Sub-Faction of Calamity if they use power of the Void, a higher being than Hell? as John himself said that the Void is a being much more powerful than Calamity and resides in his own domain, a domain beyond Hell which is most likely where Calamity resides, somewhere deeper than Hell, well, we can assume that afterwards the invasion of Void, a literal God, had purple orbs in the entrances serving as access portals, we can assume that with the access portals they acquired even more powerful magic with the Void's magic from the Void Portal Orbs or maybe accessed the abyss for them, because as you can see- if the Void is a being more powerful than Calamity, therefore if the invasion was done without the powers of the Void, it may not have even happened- or it just maybe would outcome differently, only the powers of the Abyss (domain of the Void) can corrupt entities, therefore with that in mind without the powers of the Void no one would become corrupted, such as Apex Predator or Eradicator MK II, or the enemies would come weaker and with different entities presumably with less strength than what they currently have, and on another hand- it is mentioned that Calamity is merely a "scout" mentioned by the wretched himself, therefore we can assume that if the Wretched knows that Calamity is a Scout means that he was once a resident of Hell which is presumably the residence of Calamity and his entities. TL;DR They acquired powers from the Abyss (domain of the Void), Awakened we're once residents of Hell by assumption of Wretched's knowledge, that being him clarifying Calamity is a "Scout", Void being a stronger entity than Hell means the invasion would've been weaker, without the powers of the Void, corruption would not be viable, as only the Void with abyssal powers knows how to corrupt, the Void being a God much more powerful than Calamity himself, Hell being presumably a residence of Calamity, Awakened, and his other entities.
7:10 I think that engineer in nightmare mode says that dr. Xenon was also corupted by The Awakened. And also there are multiple of the same eradicators. In this theory Mk I C is new version of Mk I
So, you know how Mk IV is dead in chapter 3 map? With other artillery. He has a artillery on his back. What if he was helping us to beat the thing in the middle with his artillery until wretched came and then a fight began them until he lost.
idont think she left cus they tried to use clamity energy beacuse she was trying to use it too so that means it was prob the other way around untill the gda reialed how op the clmaity energy is and now are trying to use it
What if eradicator mk4 theme is sended from the world of awakened? Like him warning the gda about this or dr xenon? Maybe time works diferent in awakened realm and he was at the same time fighting gda and the wretched, sending this message to be telled in his theme from the realm of awakened, what if when he died he got sended there
Most likely and he isn’t powered by any calamity energy, he doesn’t explode from overheating upon death, instead from an imbalance of weight after shredding his armour and tripping
for the engineer part the portals on the map kinda confirms that he steals dr.xenon's work as they are the same on the other regular maps which either feature somewhere really hard to reach or directly an other dimension like scorched passage bladeworks singularity etc. So he builds his creations that are both inspired and stolen from dr xenon in this sorta pocket dimension calledd factorium or something and send them to our world with the stolen portals
the large stones used to summon the awakaen (like in chapter 3), are very similar to those in transformers DOTM where sential launches these pillars to bring cybertron to earth. could they be trying to bring the calamities world to earth just like in DOTM?
The Calamity, a symbol of destruction and catastrophe, any person who tries to challenge it would have to face it's demons and it's cousins, the awakened
Btw didn’t engineer state that the base he is on was taken over by the awakens which the base is dr xexon base which that why it would make sense that the her inventions was there
I have a theory that void’s black ball things have an aura but dead end valley does not have any aura which I think that the void lost his control over that map or an attack had happen which may be the reason for the black ball in dead end valley does not have any aura that could be why the regular enemies from the game modes can appear through the cave or dr xenon got that map prob from a trade like multiply 2 & T (& idk if 3 appear in the tb nightmare ) btw I realize this yapping from the last last lore vid . :D I yapped a lot [edited] I forgot to added this part but the aura would be entity like the void or the awakens when the black ball is within their control the ball would emit blackish - purple aura and that when dr xexon forces use the black ball to attack the GDA ( dead end valley ) it did not have any aura . Yapping finish i guess
my theory is that ghost is the traitor and her ghost division is in on it. cause they came outta no where and she isnt seen in the lore and anywhere. or that could just be me making stuff up
I don't think they would make an irrelevant character like ghost the traitor, they are probably gonna make an important character in the gda the traitor
erad mk IV fighting back is a pretty cool theory, i do believe Erad mk IV weakend the wretched significantly, if Erad mk 4 didnt fight back we woulde had a much much stronger wretched, also it wouldve been cool seeing a corrupted erad mk IV

But when we defeated void, we did not take his energy (at least no tower has the purple void energy, toxicnator bottom path is considered gas damage here.) Hey Rogue, The Wretched Spawn has lyrics on 1:00
"Wave After Wave, We Weaken and Eradicate"
So technically we are the villains?
25:15, I don't think they corrupted the relics, meaning the relics started fighting the calamity after GDA defeated most of them (the calamity).
I say this because the guy who created the concept art for the relic tower said that they stole things from the calamity (It's because relics are the protectors of nature, it may be that they didn't have a physical form).
21:53, I also want to mention that I think the soldier who fought the calamity and ended up being part of them was us, since this is said in the defeat screen (although this theory is more far-fetched and probably not true)
There are 2 things I also want to say, and that is that there were 2 Eradicator MK 4, the first one was the one we fought in endless mode, and the second one was the one that fought the wretched.

5. Golden juggernaut
( Note that predator was not here, bcuz he was either too weak to fight the corruption or didn’t try to fight it at all )
I kind of forgot how normal cloning is in the lore or is hinted it with the many johns
We need eradicator MK4 as an ally, mf just fought against a stronger robot and then just died by slipping (prob).
Peak GDA energy
he slipped on a rock and exploded causing damage to the wretched
@@DubboArchives im imagining mk4 walking to the wretched but trips on a rock then explodes
Random theories:
-Eradicator mk4 are likely mass produced by Dr Xenon, there’s already 3-4 mk4 we’ve meet so far (the 2 dead ones on maps, endless one and the likely one who perished against the wretched
-The relics are likely a neutral faction, don’t interfering with anyone just doing their things, till the awakened likely attacked them and decided to join us to dealt with them
That mass produced theory kinda makes sense if you consider post-wave 80 canon. There is one in 103, another in 110, the speedy one in 121, two in wave 130 and 137, and the golden one in 150.
@@everynameiwantistaken Anything past wave 80 isn't cannon lore-wise
Every eradicator is mass produced except mk1C, since some of them are appear before wave 80 in endless
But this is weird, because it means that there are at least 2 plague doctors? Endless is weird for lore
@@aliwumensah5734anything past wave 99 wouldn’t be canon because wave 100 to 200 is just spam
it would make sense for MK4's to be more than one or the song doesnt make all too much sense, given he shouldn't be able to tell us about a fight with the wretched when he already lost to it.
Or he could be Xenons personal bodyguard.
was it mark 5 or mark 3 that the GDA still owns?
@@handakin I don't think the GDA owns any. They all contain human remains inside of them, pretty counter intuitive for a GLOBAL MILITARY ATTEMPT, don't you think?
I personally don't think the GDA ever had a hand in the Eradicator development, and GDA tech just simply looks so similar because it was likely pulled from Dr. Xenon's inventions.
@@handakinmark 3
Maybe mark 5, 6 and 7 will be in future gamemodes
We still have MK III (by we I mean the GDA)
The lore in this game has me hooked, and I'm curious about the realm of The Relic.
Nice overview of everything and amazing editing as always Mr glue man

NotOofLegacy and RogueOrdinary The roblox lore youtubers
Another factor to the resource stealing are the golden towers. They all revolve around a weapon with a red crystal core, such as top path g ranger, bottom path g mine layer, and top path g jug.
It's mentioned in the video.
Wretched before endless seems impossible, cuz we fought a calamity before chapter 4
@lorddumb21 Maybe Xenon also attacked the awaken for their ressources, sent her newest mech, MK IV, and when he came back to our realm, she stopped attaking them, to prevent big losses like she almost did.
It’s possible that there isn’t just one eradicator mk iv
21:00 that is so unbelievably beatifull part, i was fr shacking, i never put something in erad's song, erad mk 4 was and will be forewer best enemy of the entire game for me🙏
An interesting thing I saw was that one of the corrupted villagers looked a lot like sniper, so we can assume that this villager is snipers brother.
21:51 couldnt the solider possibly be g jugg since we see him corrupted? Or mkIV since he fought against the wretched?
Prob not mkIV since it is very much dead
Could be apex maybe, he is somewhat resisting the corruption
Exactly what i was saying
Also the enemy with the tall neck is called Tarnished Clergyman,he heals enemies around him by (???) Hp,and reduces tower's firerate by 15% around him,the enemh with glue on his eyes is called Zealot(not Zealot from The Relic tower)
Wow, bravo! This has got to be the best TDX halloween event theory i have seen!
18:36 the answer is john has written this paper 💀💀💀
- The Base Rush Phase Eradicator MK4 can be seen as the most easily produced due to mainly just having Light steel/titanium armor and a visor, no weapons, meant to be a last resort to increase mobility heavily to damage the base and most possibly sacrifice itself as the only thing in Base Rush Phase Eradicator MK4's goal is to ignore all obstacles and only focus on the base
- This concludes that Eradicator MK4 is the most easily produced, but the most cost efficient as well as material efficient, and that many more can be produced.
Bro cooked, the lore of TDX started to go insane now! 🔥
Now that i think about it...did we ever see the Howlings? I dont remember seeing them in any of the nights...
Note: I believe back in tower battles it was called the GDI (Global Defense Initiative). This implies that the initiative either evolved into or was disbanded after the void was defeated and replaced by the GDA.
the GDI is from command and conquer, not tb
I love how majority of the event is just Doom References.
For one, the beams up into the sky making some sorta demonic symbol like the citadel in Chapter 3 and 4 or the Scorched map resemble that of which is Argent Tower or Nekroval in both 2016 and Eternal.
Next are Heretic and Engineer’s dialogue in Nightmare. Heretic takes lines from Deag Ranak in Eternal, while Engineer takes a few lines from Marauder which is also in Eternal. Show’s how much love John has for the Doom franchise.
Tdx is my favorite tower defense game in terms of lore, it's absolutely insane.
21:24 YEEAAA I NOTICED THAT A FEW MONTHS AGO ITS ALL COMING TOGETHER
and the fact that the song that appears in the music video talk about the wretched, while the actual bossfight song that plays in game talks about killing our towers
maybe dr xenon, seeing how the calamity was about to become incredibly powerfull, programmed a special mk IV to be aggresive towards the wretched, not the GDA
I think main reason why Dr. Xenon betrayed GDA because she simply hates the propaganda, and maybe how GDA rules with its power
I think so because some of her lines from last year xmas event and some pieces of lore during Tower Battles event
"and santa clause to defeat the GDA" nice try dr. xenon
This video made me realize that tdx actually has like lore like REAL lore
7:39 i think engineer...likes calamity a *bit* too much
never expecting a whole halloween event to be part of a roblox game's actual lore.
This is a really good and cool video! Great job!
I think the advisor is the traitor because, in one image he saw something we didn't
In endless mode he has a line "You are not supposed to be here" wich- may be just used as a info to the player that they got far but he says that on wave like 140, endless has 200 waves. Sooo maybye he is in some way "helping" idk xenon
I don't that is canon bc canon wave is 80
@@helicoptergaming822 Good point, as i said that text might be just an "information" to the player that "they are not supposed to be here", not so far into the game
20:23 without subtitles:😃 With subtitles:💀
22:14 it could be relic because REMEMBER, they hate robots, what do we have, futuristic armor and weapons.
ay thats my picture in 7:42 anyway really good theory and i think that the soldier could have been apex predator as he fought against the corruption however am still a bit confused on the line "yes. i am apex predator" in the taunting.
sorry for spamming stuff, but when MK4 is screaming all that stuff, I think it is a message to Dr. Xenon. At the end with his final breath, he is saying "save me" after he had beaten up the wretched but had his mask ripped off and he was killed by the wretched grabbing his head and squeezes it so hard he died, I know this because you can see a head that looks like it is screaming for help.
Рус: Этот разбор лора был очень интересным, спасибо!
Eng: This analysis of lore was very interesting, thank you!
Can't wait another whole year to see calamity return in next halloween 😭😭😭
22:09 I think the traitor is either the medic tower, or advisor. The medic has a REVIVED PLAUGE DOCTOR SKIN, an enemy that the GDA could not have made replicas of (not like the Eradicator skins) and Advisor also says “You aren’t supposed to be here.” In endless.
Anything past wave 80 is non-canon.
NGL the not supposed to be here line kinda makes me think the advisor is suspicious, also the way he knows EVERY single monsters information, and even when redacted shows up he's surprised, he knows all of them
@@JostDrawsThe advisor is just built like that.
@@JostDraws He's a fucking advisor what did you expect
@@JostDraws every single monster's info can be chalked up to him simply having fought them before, or studying up on records (aside from calamity based enemies)
as for the "You're not supposed to be here" line, anything past wae 80 isn't cannon, and this line could only be found by skipping past wave 140, which was where the game forcibly cut off due to it lacking more waves at the time
Hey man If you really pay attention of the death animations of each towers in the game, theres one tower that have the symbol of the Calamity, heres a tip this symbol can be found on the 3rd up grade path like 3-0 or 0-3 goodluck
Now I am curious, please tell me
Hey can you give us a hint about which type of that tower is fpr example:early tower, middle game tower or endgame tower
7:38 i can guess that engineer replaced his flesh with mechanics by himself. Like he is crazy scientist.
10:02 huge doom eternal vibes
i think if tdx would do a collab with tds awakened fallen king, nuclear monster, and void reaver, would be enteties with a runic symbol. also lord exo could be behind some of the corruption, seeing as fragments or the entire god cube could make people more evil and more powerful. also narrator couldve got a taste of the god cube as well, and also the masqeruade couldve been a force like the calamity or the relics. also accelerators might draw there power from another entetie symbol beacuse a lot of accel skins have a circle or something similar under their hood.
I haven't played TDX in eight months and i guess it changed a lot.
bro gave us breakfast, lunch and dinner all in one video
Erad MK 4 is giving me D16 vibes (Megatron)
14:44 my stupid ass can't look at MrP's discord pfp without thinking it's an omori reference
Nice video, however I will say a lot of this is based off some pretty long stretches such as the Eradicator MK4 theme. As far as I know, the Erad MK4 theme was made before the Wretched was even conceptualized. Also, the dead MK4s are probably just decoration.
TDX has already established it having tons of lore, having eradicator MK4 as decoration is very unlikely.
So eradicator mk IV ost name “Hellspawn” makes sense now, it seems pretty random at first.
Also:
As to who created the Engineer, he was likely a "lesser" construct or entity of the awakened who quite literally made himself stronger through scavenging the remains of both Xenon and the GDA's forces: the tallied shoulder plate probably isn't his.
He's calling the losing player a traitor to the GDA.
not too sure about the last part about the traitor, but your interpretation is certainly interesting and should be held in regard and looked into.
If you look it like a developer, i dont think most of your points will last.
@@generallyupsetfetus I think you need to watch shows or games with more lore.
@@Brickcyn I do. I think you should understand that lore is a matter of planning and as a writer it's hard to tie everything together intentionally.
You can't just assume everything connects. That's not theory crafting. That's conspiracy.

A THEORY??!! THATS THE LORE, atlest some part of the LORE. Thanks for making this video.😃😃😃😃😃👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Heres a madal for you.🎖️
honesteally i like way more hearing your voice than the ai matpat, makes the video more enjoyable to listen to
As for the traitor i feel like it could xwm since in the 2nd chapter the engineers emp knockouts every mechanical suit or machine potentially meaning they could be infected but they just dont know it yet.
24:08 this is literally a game theory moment,
“AND Santa Claus” is how matpat would say it
I wonder where the Plague Doctor fits in with all of this.
But why is he weaker then both calamity and wretched then if he's stronger, and did not he die?
@BRUH-zj9gb Your're talking about game balancing not canonically, Void is a god and is miles stronger than Calamity and Wretched.
@BRUH-zj9gb He dies but his Orbs stayed, that is proven with the Calamity map.
The fact that we have the relic tower must mean that when we were fighting the Awakened we must have teamed up with them.
GUYS, we gotta sell matpat he gonna reveal our secrets and our lore
idont think she left cus they tried to use clamity energy beacuse she was trying to use it too so that means it was prob the other way around untill the gda reialed how op the clmaity energy is and now are trying to use it
What if eradicator mk4 theme is sended from the world of awakened? Like him warning the gda about this or dr xenon? Maybe time works diferent in awakened realm and he was at the same time fighting gda and the wretched, sending this message to be telled in his theme from the realm of awakened, what if when he died he got sended there
Note the fact MKIV has heavy armor grenades and missiles along with an artillery cannon on his back what if Xenon made MKIV to counter the wretched
Most likely and he isn’t powered by any calamity energy, he doesn’t explode from overheating upon death, instead from an imbalance of weight after shredding his armour and tripping
i would like a video on the nature of endless mode for the lore, as i think it is very interesting debating wether waves 81+ are canon.
i got an idea, MK VI absolutely COOKED wretched, then got killed by apex
I mean it does say in hellspawn he sawed the wretched in half
we got game theory at home
for the engineer part the portals on the map kinda confirms that he steals dr.xenon's work as they are the same on the other regular maps which either feature somewhere really hard to reach or directly an other dimension like scorched passage bladeworks singularity etc. So he builds his creations that are both inspired and stolen from dr xenon in this sorta pocket dimension calledd factorium or something and send them to our world with the stolen portals
Matpat better come outa retirement to see this banger 🗣️🔥🗣️🔥🗣️🔥
The best quality tdx video I've seen so far
that intro is so fire 😭
the large stones used to summon the awakaen (like in chapter 3), are very similar to those in transformers DOTM where sential launches these pillars to bring cybertron to earth.
could they be trying to bring the calamities world to earth just like in DOTM?
This why Mk4 is the goat of all erads
He may run like a coward but it was to do his job
A last ditch strategy
Loyal towards Dr xenon
The Calamity, a symbol of destruction and catastrophe, any person who tries to challenge it would have to face it's demons and it's cousins, the awakened
MK4 is the goat, thats why hes my favorite dude. Bro fought with honor.
One of my theory about TDX is Doom Eternal universe connects to TDX universe
Bro forgot about plague doctor in the chapter 1 theory
Btw didn’t engineer state that the base he is on was taken over by the awakens which the base is dr xexon base which that why it would make sense that the her inventions was there
mk4 was always my favorite boss, more reasons to love him are always welcome

thank god he didnt use that HORRID matpat voice again
Soo the mk4's were sent by xenon to fight the awakened army. Probably
I WANT MORE LORE *tbw i like ur vidos*
You forgot how he say the apex Predator was mentioned in the taunting,it means how he resist the corrupt
Pls do another TDX civilization video pls
I have a theory that void’s black ball things have an aura but dead end valley does not have any aura which I think that the void lost his control over that map or an attack had happen which may be the reason for the black ball in dead end valley does not have any aura that could be why the regular enemies from the game modes can appear through the cave or dr xenon got that map prob from a trade like multiply 2 & T (& idk if 3 appear in the tb nightmare ) btw I realize this yapping from the last last lore vid . :D I yapped a lot
[edited] I forgot to added this part but the aura would be entity like the void or the awakens when the black ball is within their control the ball would emit blackish - purple aura and that when dr xexon forces use the black ball to attack the GDA ( dead end valley ) it did not have any aura . Yapping finish i guess
20:18 This isn't the version used in the game, it was made before Mark 4 was even conceived
True, but never underestimate those inconspicuous lines
Legit thought this was game theory
Even he's eye looks tired.
my theory is that ghost is the traitor and her ghost division is in on it. cause they came outta no where and she isnt seen in the lore and anywhere. or that could just be me making stuff up
I don't think they would make an irrelevant character like ghost the traitor, they are probably gonna make an important character in the gda the traitor
Possibly ;3
erad mk IV fighting back is a pretty cool theory, i do believe Erad mk IV weakend the wretched significantly, if Erad mk 4 didnt fight back we woulde had a much much stronger wretched, also it wouldve been cool seeing a corrupted erad mk IV
Now i want TDX story mode!
