Hi Sebastian! Since you like fig scents, do check out Lancome - Figues and Argumes, and Nishane - Wulong Cha. They are absolutely amazing, and most long lasting fig scents. Also, you're spot on about the Fig and Tea combo - scents such as 78 Vintage Green, Wulong Cha, Gris Charnel - all of them have these 2 notes, and smell fantastic.
Mind you I'm a woman who dresses towards feminine yet Bois Imperial is my current ride or die. I'm on my 2nd bottle of this house, my 1st one was Rose Magnetic and I just bought it last month for my mom because she loves it!
My favourite one is Rose Magnetic, it's exactly the rose I like- fresh, springy, with the perfect dose of sweetness. My second favorite is Divine Vanille followed by Bois Imperiale and Mon Vetiver.
I just picked up Fig infusion for me and my gf. it's lovely, unisex, lasts all day, and its a huge compliment getter!!! love this brand and their ethos of: good perfumery doesn't have to be $500 a bottle. Will definitely pick up bergamot and vanille next :)
We agree on Divine Vanille being great, but I loved The Musc and REALLY disliked Bois Impérial on my skin. Something about it overwhelmed me and I had to scrub it off. I love the house and recommend them all the time. I’ve given a sample set as a gift before. I really appreciate that they celebrate the perfumers, prioritize sustainability and make their fragrances affordable. I am anxious to try the new fig fragrance as I have really been enjoying the note lately.
1. Fig Infusion 2. Bois Impérial 3. Rose Magnetic 4. The Musc 5.Mon Vetiver 6. Nice Bergamot 7. Divine Vanille 8. Orange x Santal I've never had strong reactions from my friend before, but the Fig drove her crazy. She complimented how lovely it smells on me and kept repeating it. All other frags are good, too. I'm having hard time to pick from 3 to 7 and they'll change based on my mood. I definitely hate the Orange one though. It's one of the fragrance I want to scrub off my skin.
Sebastian declared a fig war 😁 🙌 - I just looked at the perfumers, the two Natalies , Pescheux, Bisch, all of the perfumers are legendary noses. - it Sounds promising house, I hope they have good customer service. - 17:25 I wish they offer 50 ml and 30 ml soon (more practical for me).
Thanks Sebastian again for a great video on the House of Essential Parfums. Bois Impérial is truly outstanding!! I find Bois Impérial super clean, woody/paper like, unique, modern with fabulous longevity. I also really enjoy Nice Bergamot, Mon Vetiver, Rose Magnetic and Orange X Santal especially on my husband. Essential Parfums is an outstanding fragrance wardrobe.
Never tried them, I hope all fragrances were in this price range, but I'll keep on dreaming. Will definitely try your first three. Thanks for the review Sebastian!!!
I really like the simplistic, chic design of the bottles, and the focus being on the fragrance, the perfumer, and of course the pricepoint is excellent for niche! This is another brand I'll be adding to the neverending sample set wishlist 😆💚
I was not aware of this particular niche perfume house and I'm really excited to hear that they are affordable. I will be ordering the sample set ASAP. THanks for this review.
I own Rose Magnetic, Bois Imperiale and Fig infusion. I love the simplicity, attention to sustainable packaging and quality/price. I have a feeling I will own more from this brand in the future. I forgot about Divine vanilla, a yummy vanilla which I also own
Just got my sample set today and yes, Divine Vanille, Fig Infusion and Mon Vetiver are my favorites! I shall give them a few more wearings before deciding which one to get a full bottle of. But all smell really light and natural and really amazing. But its true unfortunately, Orange x Santal and the Musc are 2 which dont really work for me very well too.
Learning to like scents I didn't think I could at first. Coming around to fig, and it was your recommendation of Panouge Patchouli Figue that did it. That's a super-wow. By the way, in my online fragrance explorations, I came across something that looked captivating and wondered, "Has Sebastian ever talked about this one?" Well, you did, about five years ago: Masque Milano Mandala. It's something I really want to try eventually.
I blind bought fig infusion this year and I cannot wait to wear it! Divine vanille is on my list for sure now. I do want to see if it lives up to the a good complex vanilla.
I’ve just got some samples. Fig, rose and Bois. And oh boy. I was blown away. So so fresh and natural. The proportions are just perfect. Instant favourite!
OMG… I gotta try that fig frag ASAP! I own Nice Bergamote, Mon Vetiver and Rose Magnetic. Al of them to die for. Great house… amazing price/quality ratio.
I don’t believe i missed that video. I have heard about that brand recently and f try on the notes I’ve got interested in fig , boi imperiale and vanilla. Went for the fig to the store , but buy vanilla 😂 tried on my hand the rose , vanilla, fig on paper . After 10 min when i was in the taxi I was wandering what smells so good? It was the rose! So after 10 hours and a shower i still feel the scent! Crazy. I adore it! And my boyfriend too.
@@neva.2764 Amazing performance 8 hours easy and projection is also great Bois Impérial in terms of scent it is a mix of Ganymède and Tom Ford Grey Vetiver but Bois impérial is more woody and green with the basil very uplifting scent 👍
I love fig as a note and look forward to trying this fragrance. I know I've tried Divine Vanille but it's been a while and I've forgotten what I thought of it, lol, I'll have to check my notes but I think I liked it? 100% agree about it being nice to know who the nose is. You definitely get to see patterns of loved fragrances being created by the same perfumers over & over again.
OMG, Sebastian I almost fell out of my seat when you said that The Musk is just not doing it for you. 😂 Well gues what, I ordered the discovery set last November namely for The Musk as I heard a TH-camr I like recommend it. Well, out if the entire set this one was the first I tossed in the bin. It is absolutely meaningless and does nothing for me....A big no, no. But the two I got in full bottles later I LOVE - Bois Imperial for my hubby, but we share it and for me Rose Magnetic. ❤️❤️❤️ I only regret not getting Divine Vanille as me & hubby both loved it, so definately a full bottle of it on its way to us soon. I was able to try Fig Infusion last month and really enjoy it, maybe also a full-bottle-worthy. Also besides the 4 I mentioned we liked, the rest in the line are a No for me. Thanks for you review! Love from Bulgaria🍀❤️🤗
ah Ah, I want them all ! Sweet spot for the fig, because I spent many hours playing under our fig tree and I just love eating figs. Great prices, wonderful finds! i
Ordering a sample set! I’m Pretty impressed that your sample set price is refunded if you order a 100ml bottle! Thanks for sharing, cant wait to smell!
This video came just in time! I am sitting down to select samples from Indigo Perfumery now. Fig Infusion is going on the cart. Edit: the entire discovery set went in the cart. I couldn’t resist.
Great review of a very good line. Have the Nice Bergamot as a summer frag and a 10 ml of Bois Imperial that has a outstanding performance on my skin. Definitely gonna check the other ones. Greetings from Hollanda🌷.
Just blind bought Fig Infusion. I really like fig fruit/nectar/milk notes, along with date, plum and dried fruits. Since this is one of the relative few fig FRUIT dominant fragrances - most are predominantly green fig leaf forward - I had to jump.
What a nice review as Always. I really enjoy bois imperial, for me it's a master piece which fly under the radar. My next fragrance from this brand will be fig infusion
Essential Parfum is available where i work 🥳. I love Divine Vanille 🥰 I hope you still be in Paris on thursday to meet Nathalie Lorson. Enjoy your journey in Paris, i hope i can see you again
I have the same with Musc from this brand. I’m supposed to love this on paper, but there’s something sharp that I don’t care for. And it’s quite linear so that sharpness stays throughout wearing it.
Can't say I'm a fan of fig (have Acqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi) so I tend to stay away from it. However, I did purchase Nice Bergamote by Essential Parfums some time ago after watching Sebastian's review and I couldn't be happier. This is my must wear summer fragrance that is somewhat feminine leaning scent!
Oh and btw I think their soaps are great value; glass bottle, good perfumes and almost 50% discount on the refill! Just wish they made soap for the entire collection, because it’s just half of them.
Great house. All of their fragrances wear light on me, though the longevity is pretty good. Makes them great for work. I own Nice Bergamot and intend to pick up Rose Magnetique. Worth sampling for sure.
Not really, as far as I'm concerned. I have Fig infusion, Gris Charnel and Gris Charnel extrait and while i can wear fig infusion whenever, Gris Charnel OG I wear only during warm weather and the extrait is reserved for winter.
I only own the Fig Infusion and haven’t yet tried any of the others, but I will definitely be testing the others very soon. Thanks for the ranked list Sebastian.
I can only speak of Bois Imperial which I own. I only use 1/2 spray as a work scent under my shirt and it gives me about 8hrs. I use 2 sprays on the other days and I get about 12hrs longevity. It contains Georgywood (ISO E super) and Ambrofix (ambroxin) so you’ll go nose blind if you spray too much. Three or more sprays is nuclear to other people but I go anosmic. The trick is to spray it far away from your nose and let the scent come to you. It’s the most “nuclear, ethereal, but nice” scent that I own. And the compliments…they never stop coming.
Fig Infusion > Divine Vanille = The Musc > Rose Magnetic > Nice Bergamote = Bois Imperial > Mon Vetiver > Orange x Santal for me. I don't hate any of them, but OxS is so disappointing to me because it's so imbalanced toward the sandalwood that I can barely smell any orange. =( Fig Infusion has uncanny performance on my skin, and I find its fruity fig profile fairly unique.

Is the Fig Infusion suitable for men or do you consider it more a scent for the ladies?
Bois Impérial does not work on my skin at all. It becomes kind of bitter, really off putting. Orange x Santal and Mon Vetiver are my favorites.

Thank you as always! I will try the bergamot, orange, and rose fragrances!
Does it lean masculine or feminine? I have divine vanille and also want to get rose magnetique. Great house for even greater prices!
Bois Imperial for me (Ganymede lite).
Wearing Marc Jacobs for Men today! Only fig inspired scent I own. Color in my bottle is still clear. I've read some bottles turn dark after some time.
I have divine vanille and fig infusion from the brand. They are both divine. I'll defo get a sample set.
They seem to have raised their prices, went to their website and their 100ml selling for 96 dollars. Still a good price considering.
Your view is so on point. Thank you mate.
Fig Infusion and Mon Vetiver are where it's at for me. If these fragrances have 8 hours of longevity, the price is astounding.
