Thank you very much Prof. for your insightful tips. Very helpful and concise I contacted one Professor in a school for the opportunity to be my supervisor in a specific program. Upon going through my CV and other academic documents, he recommended I rather try a different program because of my background though his recommended program is also being run in his department. I would be glad if you could advise me on this. Thank you
Very helpful!! Is it important to state you’re open to pursuing a PhD after a masters research? And how does being honest in this case affect your chances of working with a prospective supervisor for a masters research program?
Thank you for this video. Please a professor sent a friend a mail to setup an interview with him, she only requested for the CV without transcript and provided a virtual platform link in 15 days for the interview. Why didn't she ask of the transcript?
Hello Prof thanks for your good works. I followed your tips on drafting a cold email and i got a response from a Professor at a Canadian University. I've had a Zoom interview with him kind courtesy of this video of yours and, I must admit that the interview went well ( I'd rate myself at 81%😊). 4 weeks after the interview I messaged him and this was his reply "Thanks for your message. I am still in the process of getting the funding for graduate students. Cheers! " Its approaching application deadline and I've still not heard from him now. His approval is also a prerequisite for the application process. I could prolly fund myself so can I message him of my intention to do so? Or I should still wait ? Please I need your inputs. Or could it be that he's no more taking me?
Please prof, after a prospective graduate supervisor has shown interest to supervise you,who is supposed to schedule the zoom or Skype meeting Thank you
Thank you for this insightful vedio, a prof asked me to send time for us to chat about doctoral aims. I did but she didn't respond. I sent reminder but she didn't respond. Was it OK to just wait for the prof. I didn't know what to do next. But I still included the prof as a second potential advisor.
Dear Mela, if she asked for a chat and you gave her a day and time, it means she is really interested in you as a potential Research Assistant in her lab. It is OK to send her a reminder. However, if they are not getting back, maybe they moved on to the next candidate or something came up (e.g. their funding was not successful, they called off the search for a new grad student etc.). In these scenarios, you may also want to move on. However, try poking her again.
❤ thanks for your advice
Many thanks for this piece, Am preparing for an Interview soon.

Please how do you reply a prof after they accept to work with you just by email without requesting for an interview or zoom call?
Can we get your personal email Sir.
Please can we get your personal email?
Can we at least agree that this whole PhD is a rigged game?
