It can go up to 60m. The Pro version can do 100m on DJI M30T. Usually people use it for event/traffic monitoring.
i dont understand why they dont make a small solar-panel attachment to use during flight to increase flight time.
Because that wouldn’t help. These guys use a lot of power. 5000mAh in 45 minutes, which is roughly what a large smartphone uses in a full day. The weight of the solar panel would waste substantially more power than it produces.
A tether, like this one, would be a better solution. A tether is just a long power cable. It lets you fly as long as you want without needing to recharge. The most common use case is security at large gatherings. Someone could fly it straight up in the air and rotate the drive to surveil the entire area.
