Hello, I have a Sonoff L3 (NO PRO) RGB LED strip that is causing me numerous issues with the WiFi connection. It frequently disconnects and fails to work properly with Google Assistant. Some additional information: It is connected directly to the power through a transformer. It is located just a few meters from the router, with no obstacles in between. This is the first time I've encountered this problem. It seems that the Bluetooth connection takes precedence over the WiFi. When I open the eWeLink app, the device appears connected via Bluetooth and then automatically connects to WiFi, starting to work correctly. It's a bit challenging to explain, but it is causing headaches with my home's automation system. I would appreciate any comments or suggestions to resolve this issue. Regards,
Good day is the L3 and the L3 pro the same product except the l3 pro being better ?? Don't really want to spend pro money so if the L3 is the same then ill opt for tht one. which is your ? l3 or l3 pro
The L3 uses an "old style" LED strip, where every pixel shows the same color. The L3 Pro uses individually addressable pixels, where all pixels can be a different color. L3 Pro comes with some special effects that you can see in the video. But if you just want a background light, that just uses a specific color (no blinking, no effects) buy the L3.
Yes sure, just 3 wires. But for this strip, the direction matters. The data line has a data in and data out direction. So you re-need to connect the cut pieces and not the other end.
The controller is only rated for 10W. That is not a lot. If you pick a simple effect or a low brightness you may be able to fit into 10W if you connect another 5M strip. The other option is to disconnect the 5V pin from the controller and run the strip with your own bigger 5V power supply. Connect GND of the controller to GND of your power supply and GND of the strip, 5V from your power supply to the strip directly, and data from the controller to the strip. In this way the Sonoff controller can still send the data to control the strip, but your power supply can deliver the power needed for more LEDs.
Personally, I can not see why anyone wants any of these effects.. Cool to warm white and brightness is all I ever really want, but I can see Im in the minority in this :)
Yes, I agree. Although I have a strip like this around the TV running WLED. I picked the "Lake" effect which moves a subtle red-orange palette back and forth like how the wave hit the shore on a lakeside. Not intrusive but still add a bit of motion to the ambiance.
That's such a dumb product, it makes no sense having locked effects, all I wanted was to set the colors per space, not dumb seizure inducing effects... What a waste... You have individually addressable leds that you can't individually address...

@@techsquad-ts9898 L3 will blink the entire strip in one color.
@@techsquad-ts9898 L3 Pro has more effects, but it is a little less overwhelming for the price.
Can you cut it and use connectors to join the cut part ?

Could i put it in a pool like submirge is under water
No. I think for that you need the type when the LED strip is in a pipe. Like a transparent hose.
Hello, can I controll this with sonoff ns Panel ?
Yes you can.
Sind die originale stripes ws2811 ? Oder andere ?
I am not sure, maybe WS2812b
Hello bro,
Can we connect more than one light strip with single controller or just one strip can be connect with one controller?

Inject with more powerful PSU...
Indeed, completely forgot.

I agree. This is their first try, not the best. Maybe will improve with firmware update.
