Look at the situation you come in ab you were trained to do. After the fact seem the damage that happened you as law enforcement officer won't just stand there and say he did that to himself you would come to the conclusion that the officers involved cause the death of this young man. Hopefully, these officers will learn you cannot follow every officer by their word or action. It will be their duty to question things other cops do to protect themselves.
These are SHERIFFS that turned their body cams off. I think they are EXAMPLES of the fact that you can’t trust these criminals. The rot starts at the top. Clearly this practice has infiltrated through the entire department.
“After the assault had occured”. This sheriff’s no better than any of the 5 officers how is he trying to justify anything? It should be “after the MURDER had occured”.
Something is not right. It's like they came to see... They wanted to see the bludgeoning this man endured. Like it's a real live game. One of the officers that was charged sent pictures to other police and non police. Tyre Nichols was his trophy kill. They saw him as wild game. This doesn't make sense.
These 2 officers should be fired, because they know something that the public doesn't. They went to see the kill.

Suspension for any amount of time is not good enough.
Look at the situation you come in ab you were trained to do. After the fact seem the damage that happened you as law enforcement officer won't just stand there and say he did that to himself you would come to the conclusion that the officers involved cause the death of this young man. And if you believed their story then you are just as much as fault as they are for not doing the job you were trained to do.
Fire them too. They stood around and they did not render service to a dying man.

Why just a suspension of 5/days? A man died as a result of all the Officers that were there that evening. This seems to me a way to let the White Officers off the hook by targeting these 2-black officers with a light suspension so they can say see we did same with a couple black officers. That’s not satisfactory to me and shouldn’t be to anyone given the young man in question lost his life due in part to these Officers not following protocol.
