Instead of shoveling the peat into the spreader directly, I cut the peat moss bag into my gorilla cart and angle the cart right into the spreader. Must faster and easier.
Yeah this peat moss was just a little moist it was hard to even shovel let alone pick up and put into a kart then pour it in 😂😂😂🤙🏾

You sprayed the F out of that Tenacity! I just did my first spray last week, and I lightly sprayed it. It is still working though! You went above and beyond for that yard. Should be looking great real soon!
I mean it's a little bit lower dose than recommended .5 teaspoons per thousand and I am spraying 1500sqft .... I notice when I spray the full dose for 1500sqft the bleaching really stays forever 😂🤙🏾
Yup, that makes sense. 3 Gallons just takes a couple of passes to cover that area.

I actually run 4 in the front all in the large setting and the top cap is touching the water just a little bit so it sprays as well as shoots 😂😂😂😂👊🏾😊🙏🏾🤙🏾🔥

Yeah the back back is coming in nice but def slow for sure that tall fescue man… I just keep cutting it hoping it will be bushy soon 😂😂😂 I think I’m gonna be patient my self and see if it spreads … I might put more seed down during a rainy week though I think we have one coming up! 😊🤙🏾🔥🙏🏾👊🏾

Another cool video brah! How did that damp seed spread? Did the milo help absorb the moisture?
Oh yeah I let the damp seed sit in the Milo for like an hour maybe 1 hour 30min and it spreads perfect with the Milo! One thing about the Milo app though is it’s making the low cut grass grow super fast! Like it’s already super thick again and I sprayed PGR a week before… but the Milo does replace the starter fertilizer so I can’t complain 😂👊🏾😊🙏🏾🤙🏾🔥
Subtle differences between what you all do but no doubting your results. I’m not even sure if blue grass is a thing here in the UK? Will have to try and find some for a change 🤷♂️😂

I've only scalped to dirt a couple times when the lawn was first starting off. The main was 1/4 pretty close 😂🤙🏾

How many days of pregerm did you go with on the rye? I'd be nervous stuff would start in like a day and totally mess it up lol. Did you allow it to dry at all before or after mixing in the milo or did you just immediately mix and start spreading?
That's a good question also like the answer to that . I've been thinking of doing it myself
I always go the time it recommends when it germinates so usually it says 3 days to germinate so I went 3 with this one. The back back was tall fescue so I went 5 days I wanted to go 7 but the weather was perfect for the back back. Honestly it's how ever long you want to save on water in days or until you see the seed split and little white tips happen!
As for drying I drain the bucket and let it sit for about an hour then mix it with milo and let it sit again for about another hour while I do the process, milo takes the unnecessary moisture then I apply 😊🤙🏾

Yes 100% true don’t water at night for sure water in the morning like 4 am or 6am so you give the lawn time to dry up and soak in some sun… now if it’s too hot don’t be afraid to hit it with a 2nd mid afternoon water time as well 😊🙏🏾🤙🏾🔥

Weather in the PNW has been unpredictable and soil temps shot up to 74 degrees out of nowhere! I really wanted to get it done and possibly overseed again in the fall. Wait or go? Thanks, brotha!
