We live in a blessed and favored time... that such a creative and enjoyable musical performance can be recorded and seen over on a forum like You Tube. Bravo!
+pokemon2803 I will refrain from your suggestion to kick my 6-year-old son who was coughing, but we apologize if that ruined your TH-cam video viewing experience of this performance that we shared to you for free.
+Vic Townsend Thanks. I've brought him (and his sister) to recitals and concerts since he was 3 years old, and I think it's made a positive impact on his music education. These other commenters who complain about his coughing in this recording of a live concert need to get over themselves and realize these things happen.
+Mario Ajero In that case, I hope he was a quiet and respectful kid since 3 years old then. Otherwise, I cannot imagine how many people have had a bad concert experience, and how many musicians had to perform with distractions. I understand that you are defending your son as a father, but noise is noise, as a part of the audiences, if we were forced to make noises, we try to make it as quiet as possible, like cover up the mouth with some sort of cloth/fabric from a shirt/jacket. And it's your job to teach your son to do whatever to keep the noise down, doesn't matter if its painful, but to give others a pleasant experience. Just because it is beneficial, doesn't mean he should be forgiven all the time for making noises. instead, it is your responsibility. Again, I hope he was a quiet kid. Also, I hope he would understand now, since he is 11. There is a reason why grown-ups holds their coughing until the end of a piece/movement. As much as you are defending your son on youtube, you need to teach him that, so he doesn't get hated in the future because he will no longer be a kid, being a kid is no longer an excuse.
es3502012 Yes, he is a quiet kid. And he knows to try his best to be quiet and respectful in performances, but we're all human and sometimes suffer coughing episodes. My point is that if it didn't bother me (and I'm one of the performers on stage in this video), then I think it shouldn't be that big of a deal to people watching our video from the comforts of their own homes.
Top class pianists (or any other musicians) would never be distracted by the audience. Also if the stage lighting is done properly the performers cant see the audience anyway.
Impressive but spoiled by not seeing the performers faces. What happened with the Stage Manager? The Performer should NEVER have their back to the audience. If the Conductor with his gimmick was the performer, why did he need 8 superb pianists to get people to see him wear a blindfold? All the Conductor did was prove he memorized the score, nothing outstanding in that! Child Pianists all over the world do that to pass their grade exams. Great music well played but the stage set-up ruined the performance.
On the contrary, we felt it was better to prioritize that the audience see the pianists' hands at the pianos' keyboards. Seeing our faces for the close to 10-minute duration of the piece while hiding the keyboards would have taken away from the audience's experience and would likely not elicit as enthusiastic of a response as you see at 11:40.
Terrible!! If you want a piano version of Willian Tell, try the ONE-piano transcription by Liszt. Those recordings are inspirational. This one is no where near inspirational. This 4-piano version was recorded in an auditorium with horrid acoustics. The pianos sound tinny and muddled. Couple this with noise from the audience, and you have a recording that is hard to listen to or enjoy.

Go to Sheet Music Plus. Just do a search for "William Tell Overture 2 piano". It's the arrangement that we played, but we just doubled each part.
Well that was fun. Many of us heard this as our first brush with classical music. The good parts starts 4 minutes in.Then at 8.
Phenomenal presentation. God Bless them all !!!! And Hooray for The Lone Ranger and Tonto---they're still in our hearts.
William Tell is the best music around.
Ikr
And it still is❤️😊
A truly remarkable performance!
LOL! at 11:19 there was a little boy go "Whoah". so that means you did a great job!!
Wow!! that ending was spectacular!!! Congratulations !!
BRAVO!!!!!
Was the conductor in the mask the Lone Arranger? 😄
Harry Barrow 🤣🤣🤣
No. The Loan Arranger works down at the bank. LOL
8:20 for the main part...
More like 8:03
4:18
I love to see the creativity! Great show.
8:04 for the main part
This reminds me when I have performed in Glorious Grands at Dupage College with eight concert Steinway Grands!
Awesome!!!!! ♥
That “whoa” at the end 😂😂
WOW, that beautiful song, I love it, and love how you can to express your emotions with an instrument.
¡Cuántas extravagancias!
WOW! Auesome!
The thumbs are fingers too. Finger #1.
Thumbs are not fingers. Every hand has one thumb and four fingers.
Lol, it looks like they use a laptop as sheet music on the right piano xD
+Prime Ninja I'm using laptop for sheets too. It's more comfortable :D
blue thunder oh you typed that reply on some kind of technology, you must be gay too
Thats awesome.
I think the reason of the conductor's location (and therefore the pianos' location) is to let the public to see the mask :-)
And 80 fingers !!!
and I suppose, 256 teeth
Reading music off iPads weren't as cool back then.
No . 160 finger he have ^v^
Koff Koff Orchestra performing The Snort Overture by Pietro Cough-ellini, arranged by Boris Sniffovski.
8:19 comedy gold 🤣🤣
The conductor's mask is just TOO FUNNY! Excellent performance, I could almost see The Lone Ranger and Tonto.
@Thiren111 they are facing the conductor as they are playing in parts
🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Where did the Lone Ranger take his trash?
To the dump, da-dump, da-dump, da-dump......

Carlo Cavazutti dab for me
Where can i get the sheet music!??!
This is so cool! Can you please link me to where I can find the sheet music? I've looked everywhere and I can't find it :(
It took me forever to figure out why Americans get so excited at the finale.
easy going... i can play this on 1 piano with 1 hand... *sarcasm*
no... i loved watching this... thank you
Where's Tonto (Jay Silverheels)?
Nice
I love the homage to the Lone ranger for the finale :)
mansharker8 that "homage to the lone ranger" is an original part of the overture. The lone ranger took it from the overture
@livingpiano yeah, but why couldn't the conductor be facing away from the audience? Isn't that better?
I agree. The stage manager who set that up was clueless. It was completely wrong.
Kick whoever the hell was coughing.

It never seems to fail ! 30 seconds into any performance, someone right next to an audio pickup has to cough ! Kevlutu
Mario Ajero,at the age of 6 listening to Rossini??.He's aloud to cough bless him??>

You are certainly right, and great to hear that. Thank you. As long as he tries, he shouldn't be criticized, it's all good.
16 hands???? What about the conductor. 18 hands, He is just a big a part of program as players. Or am I wrong?
is it a little wierd that they are all facing away from the audience?
Bravo - still needs trumpets
Kevin Kelley low brass and f horn -_-
Liszt: *laughs in solo Piano*
I can play this with 0 pianos -.-
Jason M Good for you. Give yourself a cookie.
Mario Ajero I can play this with 0 cookies :/
Jason M the god.
Jason M Maybe your vocal cords?
+Jason M With another insturment
One of the persons playing is named Ping-Ting. Not gonna lie, that's pretty funny in America.
8:03 You're welcome. :)
inascoltabile
1. they have to look at the conductor guy, 2. its easyer to focus when not facing audience

+Vic Townsend My son who was 6-years-old at the time was the one coughing.
They used a computer jaja

It's pretty ghastly and loud all the time
pshhhhh i can play this with no hands....
Pity about the audience coughing and making lots of noise.
It didn't really bother us performing on stage.
Ha-Ha-Ha! But you were closer too, and more in the middle of, the machinery...!
Get rid of the cougher!
The cougher was my son. So I'm glad I didn't take your advice and "get rid" of him.
@@MarioAjero LOL. Sorry.
