There's already various origin point in which where all the SCPs come from. One - you could said that we from the real world in the Alpha Reality bring this anomalies to life by our imagination and messing up the Beta Reality where the Foundation multiverse lies and the odd and strange things manifested. Two - Spiral Path Three - this SCP here and Four - many more stuff that I couldn't really say it all

Surely ever since locking up 001, they've found new anomalies? If they have, then that suggests that at least if 001 is dangerous, looking at its pages is not the trigger. If they haven't, that lends a lot of credence to the idea that 001 IS dangerous. It seems like they would have either determined the causal relationship OR determined the safety of reading definitively. You could posit "multiple causes" and still not read just to be safe, but then if you're wrong you're leaving the door open for any number of end of world scenarios to happen before you even know what to look for. I submit the prior administration was NOT ignorant of the potential causal relationship, but instead weighed the potential outcomes differently. Knowing full well "what they were doing", though obviously they would not have conceived of some of the more novel and bizarrely catastrophic dangers of the late number skips during the early days.
As it has been pointed out by others already, the problem now with locking it up and seeing if nothing new happens is the existence of groups who are capable of creating thier own scp's, meaning that any one of them could be the origin of a new scp independent of turning the next page, while they could also be inspired to created it thanks to someone turning the page. Basically at this point, they have already past a tipping point with it and it is no longer so easy to tell what is what. You would pretty much need another artifact that determines the truth of objects to check against the stack of papers to be sure now. Pretty sure such an scp exists, or maybe I am mixing up my fictions.
This ones my favorite. It doesn't go too much into the background of the SCP foundation, keeping it a mystery, it makes a lot of sense being something they can't stop but would wanna keep secret in case, say, someone were to steal it and use the information being written to their advantage, and it is completely ordinary. You wouldn't expect it to be so dangerous yet it absolutely is, and those are my favorite SCPs. They're normal, until they aren't. None of that end of the world crap, no time hopping, just a weird/scary/creepy thing that gets more and more horrifying the more you look into it. BTW my favorite SCP is 2316 for that exact reason.

When I’ve heard over 6000 anomalies which I’ve heard before this video existed I’ve Been thinking of a blank dimension a phantom zone like dimension a place were the foundation can teleport all the over 6000 anomalies to so the world can truly be safe
I’m pretty sure they do have access to stuff like that, but their goal is to study the anomalies, not get rid of them. Otherwise they’d just go kill all the SCPs. But i mean for all we know some of the research sites COULD already exist in places like that.
I love this channel and know this won’t be seen, but honestly i wish all the “this is the worst of the worst” and “this is the true beginning” stuff would slow down. Everything being the origin and everything being the biggest and baddest, just lessens and cheapens everything.
I think they can check which created which by checking what's in the papers and specifically not looking for it. If no other anomalies appear, then it was the papers creating them.
Except that only works if the anomaly can be contained. There are SCP's like SCP-1000 and SCP-939, creatures who are either not contained or have a select group contained while other remains in the wild. If they don't go looking for an anomaly like that, they could be leaving citizens to their own devices. At the same time, we have others who purposely come to the Foundation after being discovered by other Groups of Interest, or just were very obvious. SCP-1609 and SCP-343 come to mind. And of course, the continuous writing of new SCP instances and the existence of anomalous items that don't warrant the SCP designation throw a wrench into the works. Because either the previous Administrators or O-5 members read A LOT of papers to create the expanding number of anomalies being written, or it truly is a warning signal that ignoring after reading about will threaten the world.
See, there's a good way to test this. Stop looking at SCP-001 and see if the rate of the appearance of anomalies slows at all. If it doesn't slow, then it probably isn't creating them. If the rate of new appearances speeds up, then it's a problem. We would have to look at the sheaf to slow the appearances. If the rate is the same, then we don't know if the anomalies that are brought into existence by looking at the papers are replacing the ones that would would have formed "naturally". For instance, say SCP "ABCD" (where "ABCD" is a new number) was going to be a magical TV you can't stop watching until you die, but looking at the sheaf instead caused "ABCD" to be a hamster that floats like a balloon. Whether we got the TV or the hamster, we would have no awareness of the other possibility. Without knowing if the sheaf creates a relatively harmless hamster to replace the deadly TV from coming into existence, is not something we can prove. If we get the TV, we don't know about the hamster that could have been. Therefore, we do averages. Let the SCPs come naturally. Average out how deadly they are. Then use the sheaf and average out how deadly those new SCPs are. If the SCPs seem to be coming at a steady rate and are equally as deadly whether we look at the sheaf or not, then we HAVE to look at the sheaf because at least then we get a heads up on what we just created by looking at the sheaf. Better the devil you are warned about and can charge at then the devil that sneaks up and stabs you in the back. I'm mean really. This is simple science. You already are testing the first part. You stopped looking at the sheaf. Is the rate of appearances slowing, steady, or speeding up? Are the new SCPs averaging as less deadly, the same amount of deadly, or more deadly? If the rate and average threat of the SCPs doesn't change looking at the sheaf or not, then there's no downside to looking, just remember to take pictures if the documents to get a head start on the research. Hell, even if the rate and average threat levels are increased, having knowledge of the SCPs before they exist make them easier to contain and reduce causalities so much, that the strengthening the spread and power of new SCPs by looking at the sheaf might still be a net gain. Like "damn this one will kill people only if they look at it? Better send in our blind squad". That one may have been more deadly than the ten legged ball kicker it replaced, but at least you have no causalities from people accidently looking at the "death by sight" dudes whereas the ball kicker would have killed a guard by exploding his testicles.
So... the Sheaf of Papers contains a reference to the Gate Guardian... and reality hasn't come undone... which means that all SCP-001 candidates must each have their own SCP number, perhaps with each and every one being the actual 001 in a different parallel universe.

Honestly, I think the name of the first administrator should always in every iteration canonically be the name of the person who actually started the whole SCP universe in the real world. Would be a decent way to honor him, I think. I don't think the file is an oracle though. Seems more like a better version of the encyclopedia of common diseases, but instead of making them just imagine stuff, it actually creates the anomalies that it describes and makes it so that they will find those anomalies shortly after. Edit: Not a scientist, didn't think about direction of causality at all, but called it from the beginning. Just makes sense. First no real anomalies at all, then this file pops up and immediately they find whatever is described in there. Very likely that the file itself was the cause of those anomalies appearing.

So this SCP act is like a Pandora's box or either a guide to anomaly containment but I think it most likely the first one I mentioned, the idea of finding these anomalies after reading the file is highly unlikely happen in real life, one or two maybe but, more after reading this is literally a deserving classification of a collage of SCP-001s

It's easy to know if this 001 creates the anomalies or not. You don't open it, and wait until you discover two anomalies. Then you open it. If it talks about one of the two new anomalies you discovered, then 001 is not the cause. If you don't discover new anomalies at all, 001 is the cause.
SCP-001 is a lot and if you ask ‘what’ or ‘why’ it may seem a easy question to answer but those questions have a lot answers that can be explain instead of answering simple answers. For example we gonna take questions like “Why the ice cream is melting” So people says “because of the sun” some might says “temperature too high” it can be “because it need stay cold to not it be melt” and more And for ‘what’ usually not hard question to answer but it always can be explained like ‘why’ and if you realise how many questions you already answered as ‘why’ questions probably a lot, same as goes SCP-001 it might be simple number and text but a lot to be explained
How is that Keter? That should DEFINITELY be safe class. Remember, classes are based an how hard it is to contain and how many resources are needed to contain it. It’s completely inert. I'll admit I'm intrigued by this anomaly. It may have been directly responsible for some of the other SCP-001 proposals, and it could probably predict some, if not all, of Series 8. I have an idea for a new scp of Sorts. The tiger of flowers, it is a dark red and orange tiger with blue stripes and red and purple flowers in it mouth and eyes, it has three tails and long sharp claws. It can grow blue vines infecting whatever living creature it touches, makes their eyes red flowers and red and purple flowers come out of their mouth. It has the capability of human speech and can be reasoned with well relatively well. It is unknown where it came from but has a hatred toward other life forms. I have a question about the Church of the Broken God. For the church to collect all the pieces to rebuild their god, would they need to disassemble the prison their god sacrificed himself to make to save humanity?
Remember that some of the pieces are referred to as "His Broken Heart" and "His Broken Mind." While their god may not be their full self, due to the cage being made from them, their god will at least be sentient once more. And given several of his pieces are also designed to pull together even more metal, those pieces are likely making up for the lost pieces of the cage.
So if in this take of the foundation the original administrator has passed on even after they did the Fountain of Youth Discovery would that mean he might have been the first person to see the picture of 096 and possibly the first known casualty because of?????

At the same time, we have others who purposely come to the Foundation after being discovered by other Groups of Interest, or just were very obvious. SCP-1609 and SCP-343 come to mind.
And of course, the continuous writing of new SCP instances and the existence of anomalous items that don't warrant the SCP designation throw a wrench into the works. Because either the previous Administrators or O-5 members read A LOT of papers to create the expanding number of anomalies being written, or it truly is a warning signal that ignoring after reading about will threaten the world.

See, there's a good way to test this. Stop looking at SCP-001 and see if the rate of the appearance of anomalies slows at all. If it doesn't slow, then it probably isn't creating them. If the rate of new appearances speeds up, then it's a problem. We would have to look at the sheaf to slow the appearances. If the rate is the same, then we don't know if the anomalies that are brought into existence by looking at the papers are replacing the ones that would would have formed "naturally". For instance, say SCP "ABCD" (where "ABCD" is a new number) was going to be a magical TV you can't stop watching until you die, but looking at the sheaf instead caused "ABCD" to be a hamster that floats like a balloon. Whether we got the TV or the hamster, we would have no awareness of the other possibility.
Without knowing if the sheaf creates a relatively harmless hamster to replace the deadly TV from coming into existence, is not something we can prove. If we get the TV, we don't know about the hamster that could have been. Therefore, we do averages. Let the SCPs come naturally. Average out how deadly they are. Then use the sheaf and average out how deadly those new SCPs are. If the SCPs seem to be coming at a steady rate and are equally as deadly whether we look at the sheaf or not, then we HAVE to look at the sheaf because at least then we get a heads up on what we just created by looking at the sheaf.
Better the devil you are warned about and can charge at then the devil that sneaks up and stabs you in the back.
I'm mean really. This is simple science. You already are testing the first part. You stopped looking at the sheaf. Is the rate of appearances slowing, steady, or speeding up? Are the new SCPs averaging as less deadly, the same amount of deadly, or more deadly? If the rate and average threat of the SCPs doesn't change looking at the sheaf or not, then there's no downside to looking, just remember to take pictures if the documents to get a head start on the research.
Hell, even if the rate and average threat levels are increased, having knowledge of the SCPs before they exist make them easier to contain and reduce causalities so much, that the strengthening the spread and power of new SCPs by looking at the sheaf might still be a net gain. Like "damn this one will kill people only if they look at it? Better send in our blind squad". That one may have been more deadly than the ten legged ball kicker it replaced, but at least you have no causalities from people accidently looking at the "death by sight" dudes whereas the ball kicker would have killed a guard by exploding his testicles.
So in this SCP 001 proposal, curiosity could literally kill the cat, all of humanity, the world, and even the universe itself.

Honestly, I think the name of the first administrator should always in every iteration canonically be the name of the person who actually started the whole SCP universe in the real world. Would be a decent way to honor him, I think.
I don't think the file is an oracle though. Seems more like a better version of the encyclopedia of common diseases, but instead of making them just imagine stuff, it actually creates the anomalies that it describes and makes it so that they will find those anomalies shortly after.
Edit: Not a scientist, didn't think about direction of causality at all, but called it from the beginning. Just makes sense. First no real anomalies at all, then this file pops up and immediately they find whatever is described in there. Very likely that the file itself was the cause of those anomalies appearing.
Well, it would be hard to identify the person who started the whole SCP thing. And even if we do manage to track them down, we still wouldn't know their real name(unless their username is their real name, but we couldn't be sure)

It's easy to know if this 001 creates the anomalies or not. You don't open it, and wait until you discover two anomalies. Then you open it. If it talks about one of the two new anomalies you discovered, then 001 is not the cause. If you don't discover new anomalies at all, 001 is the cause.

I think this scp actually contains this anomalies, by making the scp foundation aware of it and giving them info to contain it.
SCP-001 is a lot and if you ask ‘what’ or ‘why’ it may seem a easy question to answer but those questions have a lot answers that can be explain instead of answering simple answers.
For example we gonna take questions like
“Why the ice cream is melting”
So people says “because of the sun” some might says “temperature too high” it can be “because it need stay cold to not it be melt” and more
And for ‘what’ usually not hard question to answer but it always can be explained like ‘why’ and if you realise how many questions you already answered as ‘why’ questions probably a lot, same as goes SCP-001 it might be simple number and text but a lot to be explained
How is that Keter? That should DEFINITELY be safe class. Remember, classes are based an how hard it is to contain and how many resources are needed to contain it. It’s completely inert. It’s won’t do anything at all if it’s not taken out and read. It’s contained the same exact way as lots of Safe class.

I have an idea for a new scp of Sorts. The tiger of flowers, it is a dark red and orange tiger with blue stripes and red and purple flowers in it mouth and eyes, it has three tails and long sharp claws. It can grow blue vines infecting whatever living creature it touches, makes their eyes red flowers and red and purple flowers come out of their mouth. It has the capability of human speech and can be reasoned with well relatively well. It is unknown where it came from but has a hatred toward other life forms. Just an idea of a tiger drawing I made and just thought as a suggestion ig- :>

Remember that some of the pieces are referred to as "His Broken Heart" and "His Broken Mind." While their god may not be their full self, due to the cage being made from them, their god will at least be sentient once more. And given several of his pieces are also designed to pull together even more metal, those pieces are likely making up for the lost pieces of the cage.
So if in this take of the foundation the original administrator has passed on even after they did the Fountain of Youth Discovery would that mean he might have been the first person to see the picture of 096 and possibly the first known casualty because of?????
