I like how they handled the metal. Instead of destroying it, they cut it down to a less dangerous size and let it mature until it could co-operate with the other parliaments peacefully.
A perfect metaphor for what we ought to do in real life.

We still haven’t even got an official name for the fire element the Parliament of Flames represents. It’s pretty obvious it should be The Orange, but I still want confirmation
I remember when the Parliament of Trees got wrecked by THE WORD. Also, the Parliament of human thoughts and ideas could lead to someone using Persona power.

I definitely love The Parliaments of the trees and limbs. Mainly cuz Plants and Animals are fucking awesome!!!! They're actually really cool.
I think the best way to consider the domains and parliaments as countries (3 specific ones bordering on the size of continents) and governments. Some domains are obviously Super powers that have a wide influence in the bigger and more influential aspect of life, like the big 3, while the others are the lesser countries who essentially have to, for the most part, just submit to the will of the other parliaments but are given space and time (when non-threatening) to grow in its own way.
Then again, like the Rot and the Metal, if things go awry then 1 or more of the forces will respond, one way or another.
you don't know how long I have been waiting for a video on the Red, Green and Rot as I find their consept very intriguing.
The Fundamental Parliaments and Lantern Corps are my favorite “recent” DC lore.

So kinda like Mortal Kombat's elder gods in essence among other elemental gods, it gives light to an underrated hierarchy kinda like Japan's Shintoism but more simple and overarching I wonder what schools in the DC universe really teach kids these days in history as well as science considering all the super-powered fights out there maybe I'm just overthinking but its interesting nonetheless.
RikouHogashi they probably teach things like normally because they can't explain things. Heroes are a blind side as most of them think they are government experiments and Batman is a team
I really like it whenever a fictional universe incorporate the fantastical into every day life, like a guy with electric powers working nine to five at a power plant. Or someone writing a history report about captain America in high school because things like that will happen if superheros were real.

@@raeldrews1187 well good news, I did. Swamp Thing, New 52 by Charles Soule, Vol 7. The story is mid but has some interesting concepts and the Parliament of Thoughts is maybe in it for 2-3 pages.

Yeah that is basically a good short summarization of it, it is the Black Lantern of The Elementals.
They’re basically the same thing except for the fact that the rot isn’t necessarily bad whereas the black lanterns only seek death
