You guys have just witnessed the best band IMHO that comes once in a lifetime. I've been listening and following all these popular monsters of rock & metal groups for the last 5 decades, that were part of my teenage years and adored and worship them, they were my heroes. But then I've discovered Lovebites 5 years ago and everything changed. First time I've listened to them I couldn't believe what I'm hearing and seeing. I was in denial that after so many years of listening to all my rock & metal heroes that these talented ladies will surpass all my expectations about those rock gods. The more I listen to them and explore their discography I become more a believer and addicted to their music which covers all aspects of rock & metal with some classical and prog rock inclusion. These All Star ladies are masters of their craft and when they perform live they are on another level. Epic and phenomenal. This is the only band I know that has no bad song, check any of their songs and you will agree with me, you can't mention it with any other bands where I've collected thousands of vinyl records, cd's, dvd's and blu-ray for the last 50 years. And then we have GALNERYUS on the same high level, but a male band from Japan. And then we have Versailles in the Visual Kei universe ( but drummer has now left the band ) and the brutal band JILUKA and now it seems that Deviloof is going back to their roots. Japan metal scene is so awesome at the moment! Oh.. and don't forget the Black Sabbath if Japan: Ningen Isu! I can keep going for ages with awesome bands........

Hello guys thanks for the reaction, Lovebites is something else, the band formed in 2016 in Tokyo from former bassist Miho ( she left the band 2021 ) and Haruna the drummer. In 2018 they won the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for best new metal band. This video was with the new bassist Fami, best guitar duo in decades Midori ( blond hair) and Miyako the black hair. Also known as M&M, and of course the only voice , Asami. So on the first of March Lovebites will be at Mexico city to be part of Titans of Metal Fest. They won the award with over 53 % of the vote for best power metal band for 2024. I'll recommend something else to check , please react to the song Set the world on fire. Que bueno que escucharon a Lovebites, es una banda que respeta mucho el Heavy Metal de los 80, ellas admiran las mismas bandas que posiblemente tambien son las mismas bandas que ustedes son Fan, escuchar a Lovebites no es escuchar algo nuevo sino, es escuchar algo que siempre hemos oido y pensamos que no volveremos a oir de esa forma, vienen a Refrescar el metal y no solo Power Metal, ellas son muy versatiles en la composicion, y no son novatas, practican mucho y dedican su vida al genero y a la musica! Amigos, esto es solo el inicio, es lo mejor que le puede haber pasado al rock y al metal en los últimos 20 o 30 años por lo menos, ellas son espectaculares, y así como alguien escribió debe ser la mejor guitarras gemelas de todos los tiempos, aquí están con la bajista Fami, en este su primer concierto con Lovebites, ya que reemplazó a Miho unas de las fundadoras de la banda junto con Haruna la baterista. Pueden reaccionar a cualquier tema en vivo de ellas, principalmente del 2020, 2021 con Miho, y 2023 con Fami. Ellas nunca decepcionan. Y creo que van a México en Marzo.

One thing is that they never let you down, they have no weak songs, and every one of them has surprising twists in it. Fasten your seat belts and enjoy the ride! The last two live videos (live is king!) on their channel are "Soldier Stands Solitarily" and "Edge of the World". I don't know, if you are ready for these masterpieces (there are many more), but you can't go wrong. Those releases were 4/5 months ago, but we are expecting up to four new live videos at any minute now, because there will be a whole live performance from September 1st last year being released as a 2CD/DVD/Blu-ray "No More Tragedy" at March 5th, 2025, 4 days after performing in Mexico City. That one took place in Tokyo Garden Theater with 7000 to 8000 estatic fans...

Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥 Here some information about my favorite band: LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album both were released in 2017. So far the band has already released 4 full length studio albums, 4 EPs, a best of compilation and a bunch of live albums, available on CD/DVD/Blu-ray. In 2018 LOVEBITES won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band. LOVEBITES have toured in Europe back in 2018/2019 and also in 2024. This also includes appearances at most European major metal festivals such as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop, Resurrection Fest and Hellfest. They also played their first US shows last year in September. In 2021 the band went into a hiatus, because founder and bassist Miho quit the band for personal reasons. During the break also two babies were born. LOVEBITES came back in October 2022 with new bassist Fami and a few months later with new album „Judgement Day“. Their newest release is „LOVEBITES EP II“ with 5 amazing new songs. The band members of LOVEBITES are (including their official nicknames) Asami on vocals (the one and only voice): She has an amazing vocal range and vibrato, writes most of the lyrics, also did parts of the song writing for their latest 2 albums, she is a former ballerina and RnB/soul singer Miyako on guitars, piano, keyboards (the golden touch): She is the musical brain of the band, main composer and arranger, a soulful but also shreddy guitar player and concert level pianist, furthermore she is a gear nerd Midori on guitars (crazy shredder): Incredibly fast and technical guitar player, has contributed to songwriting for a few of their songs, also she is a body fitness athlete Haruna on drums (little big engine): Plays very fast pace over long distances, she is very efficient and her stamina is admirable, the cymbal work is outstanding, she also wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers): Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop Miho on bass until 2021 (natural born headbanger): We will never forget her, she is a great bass player, she wrote several of the songs for the band’s albums 1-3

Welcome to Lovebites, the Wolfpack 🐺 Lovebites fans around the world, will be along to give you information and recommendations. Lovebites are a Japanese heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by Miho, Bass, who was previously in the band DESTROSE that broke up in 2015. They take much of their influence from the 1970's and 80's British and European bands such as Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. The name of the band is taken from a song by Halestorm, "Love Bites (So Do I)" Vocalist Asami has performed this song live on stage with Lizzy Hale and her band. Regarding the stage costumes. They always wear white. Asked about it by a French music magazine in 2018, Asami said, "We are girls, we don't want to dress like boys. Also we are all small and the white and gold makes us easier to see on the stage". And small they are, drummer Haruna is shortest at about 1.45 meters, tallest are Miyako and Fami at 1.57 Miho left the band in 2021 for personal reasons and is currently pursuing new projects. Any Lovebites video recorded in 2021 or earlier, the bassist will be Miho (ESP Bass), any from 2022 or later, it is Fami (Bacchus Bass, usually a 5 string) The present members are, Asami, Vocals and Piano. She trained in Ballet Dancing and before Lovebites was a R&B singer. She writes many of the lyrics and sings in English, not easy for a native Japanese speaker. Midori, (Midori Tatematsu) ESP Guitars. The blond 'Amazon Warrior'. Before Lovebites a member of all female band GEKIJO METALICCHE. Miyako, ( Watanabe Miyako, also has used the name Mi Ya) Dean and Gibson Guitars, Piano and Keyboards. The 'serious' one with long black hair. Before Lovebites a member of the bands DROP OF JOKER, 21g and SONIC LOVER RECKLESS. She is a classically trained pianist who writes much of the music, often incorporating classical themes into her compositions. She has a 3 part series on her YT channel 'MIYAKO OFFICIAL' about the process she uses to compose new music in her home studio. She has an EP of some classic heavy metal songs transcribed and played on piano as though they are classical works. It would be accurate to think of her as a classical pianist who also plays guitar in a heavy metal band. A remarkable young woman. Both Guitarists play lead, seamlessly swapping lead and rhythm as required. They play wonderful harmonised dual solos. Fami, Bacchus Bass. Recruited as replacement for Miho in late 2022 when she was 20 years old and still at university. She has her own YT channel that has nearly 700,000 subs. Check out her 'Alien Alien' Slap Bass cover from when she was in her teens. Haruna, Drums. The 'Little BIG Engine'. a tiny lady, 1.45 meters tall, who is the power house that drives the band. Before Lovebites she had been in Destrose, Miho's former band, and was the first to join her in the new band. She plays powerfully, fast and precisely throughout concerts that can be up to near 2 hours long. She uses a double kick bass pedal at unbelievable speed. All members of the band can play piano/keyboards. They were the first all female Japanese band to play at the Wacken festival, Germany in 2018, also playing at the Bloodstock festival in the UK and winning the UK Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. In 2019 they toured the UK with Dragon Force and opened for Arch Enemy in China. Following Miho's departure in 2021 they went on hiatus, two members, Asami and Miyako getting married and having babies. Their 'comeback' concert, the first with Fami on Bass, was in March 2023, from which this video is taken. It was the first time on stage with the band for Fami and her first time in front of an audience this size. Hace un año conocí esta banda, para mí es una de los mejores grupos de metal del momento, está canción es de power, pero tienen en su repertorio canciones de géneros para escoger, desde 70's hard rock hasta thrash/Melo death. Que onda con estos cheleros. Je, je. Pues acaban de descubrir a la que muchos del “wolfpack” consideramos la mejor banda de heavy metal del mundo en décadas; y no, no es exageración. Estas chicas japonesas son extremadamente talentosas, técnicamente muy hábiles, creativas y con una calidad musical inconmensurable. Y dieron en el clavo, sus principales influencias son Metallica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Pantera, Megadeth, Deep Purple, Angra, Dragonforce, Helloween, Slayer, Yngwie Malmsteen, Gary Moore, etc., pero ellas han ido desarrollando un estilo muy propio y único. Sus presentaciones en vivo son espectaculares. Esos solos de guitarra de Midori y Miyako ya son legendarios, en tan solo 8 años. Asami era cantante de R&B, soul y jazz antes de integrarse a Lovebites. Miyako ( guitarrista de pelo negro) es primeramente una pianista clásica de nivel de concierto. Miho (ex bajista y co-fundadora de la banda) en alguna ocasión expresó que ellas querían tocar igual de pesado que los hombres pero conservando su feminidad. Hay quienes comentan que ellas están rompiendo los estereotipos en la escena metalera. Otros dicen que son ángeles que vinieron al planeta Tierra con el fin de salvar al metal. Como músicos de verdad, ellas tocan variantes de este género musical. Me gusta mucho cuando los “reactors” ven por primera vez a Lovebites y se quedan boquiabiertos, incrédulos, sin saber qué decir. La escena de rock/metal en Japón está de no creerse, sobretodo el altísimo nivel de las mujeres. Hay algunos que se atreven a decir que el rock no está muerto, sino que solo se fue a Japón. La rola de este video es algo así como promedio, porque su catálogo (de más de 60 rolas) es asombroso, y ya están a punto de sacar más material. Yo las descubrí a principios de 2020, y sigo en shock. Mis recomendaciones, para empezar, son: “The hammer of wrath”, “Judgement day”, “MDO”, “Set the world on fire”, “Soldier stands solitarily”, “Shadowmaker”, “Chopin etude + Swan song”, “Dystopia symphony”. Esta última está basada en la obra clásica de Beethoven “Moonlight sonata”. Si pensaban que para tocar heavy metal se necesitaba vestirse de cuero negro, con cadenas, tatuajes, hacer muecas y rugidos, tomar litros de alcohol y drogarse, bueno, déjenme decirles que estaban muy equivocados. Y, bueno, ya varios han comentado que apenas han rasguñado la punta del iceberg. Por cierto, ellas se presentaron con mucho éxito en el festival metalero Wacken Open Air, Alemania, en 2018, e hicieron un tour por Inglaterra en 2019, abriendo para Dragonforce.

You guys have just witnessed the best band IMHO that comes once in a lifetime. I've been listening and following all these popular monsters of rock & metal groups for the last 5 decades, that were part of my teenage years and adored and worship them, they were my heroes. But then I've discovered Lovebites 5 years ago and everything changed. First time I've listened to them I couldn't believe what I'm hearing and seeing. I was in denial that after so many years of listening to all my rock & metal heroes that these talented ladies will surpass all my expectations about those rock gods. The more I listen to them and explore their discography I become more a believer and addicted to their music which covers all aspects of rock & metal with some classical and prog rock inclusion. These All Star ladies are masters of their craft and when they perform live they are on another level. Epic and phenomenal. This is the only band I know that has no bad song, check any of their songs and you will agree with me, you can't mention it with any other bands where I've collected thousands of vinyl records, cd's, dvd's and blu-ray for the last 50 years. Hello guys thanks for the reaction, Lovebites is something else, the band formed in 2016 in Tokyo from former bassist Miho ( she left the band 2021 ) and Haruna the drummer. In 2018 they won the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for best new metal band. This video was with the new bassist Fami, best guitar duo in decades Midori ( blond hair) and Miyako the black hair. Also known as M&M, and of course the only voice , Asami. So on the first of March Lovebites will be at Mexico city to be part of Titans of Metal Fest. They won the award with over 53 % of the vote for best power metal band for 2024. I'll recommend something else to check , please react to the song Set the world on fire. Que bueno que escucharon a Lovebites, es una banda que respeta mucho el Heavy Metal de los 80, ellas admiran las mismas bandas que posiblemente tambien son las mismas bandas que ustedes son Fan, escuchar a Lovebites no es escuchar algo nuevo sino, es escuchar algo que siempre hemos oido y pensamos que no volveremos a oir de esa forma, vienen a Refrescar el metal y no solo Power Metal, ellas son muy versatiles en la composicion, y no son novatas, practican mucho y dedican su vida al genero y a la musica! Amigos, esto es solo el inicio, es lo mejor que le puede haber pasado al rock y al metal en los últimos 20 o 30 años por lo menos, ellas son espectaculares, y así como alguien escribió debe ser la mejor guitarras gemelas de todos los tiempos, aquí están con la bajista Fami, en este su primer concierto con Lovebites, ya que reemplazó a Miho unas de las fundadoras de la banda junto con Haruna la baterista. Pueden reaccionar a cualquier tema en vivo de ellas, principalmente del 2020, 2021 con Miho, y 2023 con Fami. Ellas nunca decepcionan. Y creo que van a México en Marzo.

I don't know, if you are ready for these masterpieces (there are many more), but you can't go wrong. Here some information about my favorite band:
LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album both were released in 2017. So far the band has already released 4 full length studio albums, 4 EPs, a best of compilation and a bunch of live albums, available on CD/DVD/Blu-ray.
In 2018 LOVEBITES won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band.
LOVEBITES have toured in Europe back in 2018/2019 and also in 2024. This also includes appearances at most European major metal festivals such as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop, Resurrection Fest and Hellfest.
They also played their first US shows last year in September.
In 2021 the band went into a hiatus, because founder and bassist Miho quit the band for personal reasons. During the break also two babies were born. LOVEBITES came back in October 2022 with new bassist Fami and a few months later with new album „Judgement Day“. Their newest release is „LOVEBITES EP II“ with 5 amazing new songs.

Asami on vocals (the one and only voice):
She has an amazing vocal range and vibrato, writes most of the lyrics, also did parts of the song writing for their latest 2 albums, she is a former ballerina and RnB/soul singer
Miyako on guitars, piano, keyboards (the golden touch):
She is the musical brain of the band, main composer and arranger, a soulful but also shreddy guitar player and concert level pianist, furthermore she is a gear nerd
Midori on guitars (crazy shredder):
Incredibly fast and technical guitar player, has contributed to songwriting for a few of their songs, also she is a body fitness athlete
Haruna on drums (little big engine):
Plays very fast pace over long distances, she is very efficient and her stamina is admirable, the cymbal work is outstanding, she also wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food
Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers):
Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop
Miho on bass until 2021 (natural born headbanger):
We will never forget her, she is a great bass player, she wrote several of the songs for the band’s albums 1-3

LOVEBITES es una banda japonesa de heavy metal compuesta exclusivamente por cinco integrantes femeninas con una gran musicalidad (además de música clásica y piano). Lovebites are a Japanese heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by Miho, Bass, who was previously in the band DESTROSE that broke up in 2015. They take much of their influence from the 1970's and 80's British and European bands such as Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. The name of the band is taken from a song by Halestorm, "Love Bites (So Do I)" Vocalist Asami has performed this song live on stage with Lizzy Hale and her band.
Regarding the stage costumes. They always wear white. Asked about it by a French music magazine in 2018, Asami said, "We are girls, we don't want to dress like boys. Also we are all small and the white and gold makes us easier to see on the stage". And small they are, drummer Haruna is shortest at about 1.45 meters, tallest are Miyako and Fami at 1.57
Miho left the band in 2021 for personal reasons and is currently pursuing new projects.
Any Lovebites video recorded in 2021 or earlier, the bassist will be Miho (ESP Bass), any from 2022 or later, it is Fami (Bacchus Bass, usually a 5 string)
The present members are,
Asami, Vocals and Piano. She trained in Ballet Dancing and before Lovebites was a R&B singer. She writes many of the lyrics and sings in English, not easy for a native Japanese speaker.
Midori, (Midori Tatematsu) ESP Guitars. The blond 'Amazon Warrior'. Before Lovebites a member of all female band GEKIJO METALICCHE.
Miyako, ( Watanabe Miyako, also has used the name Mi Ya) Dean and Gibson Guitars, Piano and Keyboards. The 'serious' one with long black hair. Before Lovebites a member of the bands DROP OF JOKER, 21g and SONIC LOVER RECKLESS. She is a classically trained pianist who writes much of the music, often incorporating classical themes into her compositions. She has a 3 part series on her YT channel 'MIYAKO OFFICIAL' about the process she uses to compose new music in her home studio. She has an EP of some classic heavy metal songs transcribed and played on piano as though they are classical works. It would be accurate to think of her as a classical pianist who also plays guitar in a heavy metal band. A remarkable young woman.
Both Guitarists play lead, seamlessly swapping lead and rhythm as required. They play wonderful harmonised dual solos.
Fami, Bacchus Bass. Recruited as replacement for Miho in late 2022 when she was 20 years old and still at university. She has her own YT channel that has nearly 700,000 subs. Check out her 'Alien Alien' Slap Bass cover from when she was in her teens.
Haruna, Drums. The 'Little BIG Engine'. a tiny lady, 1.45 meters tall, who is the power house that drives the band. Before Lovebites she had been in Destrose, Miho's former band, and was the first to join her in the new band. She plays powerfully, fast and precisely throughout concerts that can be up to near 2 hours long. She uses a double kick bass pedal at unbelievable speed.
All members of the band can play piano/keyboards.
They were the first all female Japanese band to play at the Wacken festival, Germany in 2018, also playing at the Bloodstock festival in the UK and winning the UK Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. In 2019 they toured the UK with Dragon Force and opened for Arch Enemy in China. Following Miho's departure in 2021 they went on hiatus, two members, Asami and Miyako getting married and having babies. Their 'comeback' concert, the first with Fami on Bass, was in March 2023, from which this video is taken. It was the first time on stage with the band for Fami and her first time in front of an audience this size.

The ladies really shine on stage. I saw Lovebites live in London twice during their 2024 European tour. I have been a fan of Rock and Metal music right from the beginning seeing bands bands like Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Iron Maiden when they were 'new', Lovebites are amongst the best I have ever seen in nearly 60 years of going to music gigs 🐺

Hace un año conocí esta banda, para mí es una de los mejores grupos de metal del momento, está canción es de power, pero tienen en su repertorio canciones de géneros para escoger, desde 70's hard rock hasta thrash/Melo death.

This heavy metal band continues to evolve.
They don't stick to one genre of metal music.
Sometimes it blends different metal music genres together, and sometimes it blends classical music.
They have a variety of genres of metal music that they think are good, and they have the skills to perform them live.

LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by Miho(Ba) and Haruna(Dr), members of the band "DESTROSE", which went on hiatus in 2015.

On August 20,2018, LOVEBITES announced that it has partnered with X-ray Touring, one of the largest players in the UK booking agent industry.
LOVEBITES toured the Netherlands, Germany, France and UK from November 13-21, 2018.
Asami (Vo) of LOVEBITES appeared as a guest on stage at Halestorm "Download Japan 2019(March 21)", singing alongside "Lzzy" Hale on Halestorm's "Love Bites (So Do!)", which gave the band their name.
LOVEBITES performed as a support band for "Arch Enemy's China tour at the Shanghai show on March 23 and the Beijing show on March 24, 2019".
LOVEBITES participated in "dowload Festival 2019(June 15)".

1.- Lo que se complica que la gente latina reaccione a Lovebites, no las ven de negro y tatuadas y estas chican le dan tres vueltas a muchisimos grupos incluso tienen videos tocando canciones de helloween, judas priest durisimas.
2.- Acaban de Reaccionar a la cancion de lo mas fresa de Lovebites, tienen Temas Trash,Heavy Metal, Power y Speed Metal Champagne., con muchisimas sorpresas, Solos Interminables!,etc etc,etc,etc.
3.- Encuentren UNA SOLA mala cancion de Lovebites, ese es el reto

Que onda con estos cheleros. Je, je. Pues acaban de descubrir a la que muchos del “wolfpack” consideramos la mejor banda de heavy metal del mundo en décadas; y no, no es exageración. Estas chicas japonesas son extremadamente talentosas, técnicamente muy hábiles, creativas y con una calidad musical inconmensurable. Y dieron en el clavo, sus principales influencias son Metallica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Pantera, Megadeth, Deep Purple, Angra, Dragonforce, Helloween, Slayer, Yngwie Malmsteen, Gary Moore, etc., pero ellas han ido desarrollando un estilo muy propio y único. Sus presentaciones en vivo son espectaculares. Esos solos de guitarra de Midori y Miyako ya son legendarios, en tan solo 8 años. Asami era cantante de R&B, soul y jazz antes de integrarse a Lovebites. Miyako ( guitarrista de pelo negro) es primeramente una pianista clásica de nivel de concierto. Miho (ex bajista y co-fundadora de la banda) en alguna ocasión expresó que ellas querían tocar igual de pesado que los hombres pero conservando su feminidad. Hay quienes comentan que ellas están rompiendo los estereotipos en la escena metalera. Otros dicen que son ángeles que vinieron al planeta Tierra con el fin de salvar al metal. Como músicos de verdad, ellas tocan variantes de este género musical. Me gusta mucho cuando los “reactors” ven por primera vez a Lovebites y se quedan boquiabiertos, incrédulos, sin saber qué decir. La escena de rock/metal en Japón está de no creerse, sobretodo el altísimo nivel de las mujeres. Hay algunos que se atreven a decir que el rock no está muerto, sino que solo se fue a Japón. La rola de este video es algo así como promedio, porque su catálogo (de más de 60 rolas) es asombroso, y ya están a punto de sacar más material. Yo las descubrí a principios de 2020, y sigo en shock. Mis recomendaciones, para empezar, son: “The hammer of wrath”, “Judgement day”, “MDO”, “Set the world on fire”, “Soldier stands solitarily”, “Shadowmaker”, “Chopin etude + Swan song”, “Dystopia symphony”. Esta última está basada en la obra clásica de Beethoven “Moonlight sonata”. Si pensaban que para tocar heavy metal se necesitaba vestirse de cuero negro, con cadenas, tatuajes, hacer muecas y rugidos, tomar litros de alcohol y drogarse, bueno, déjenme decirles que estaban muy equivocados. Y, bueno, ya varios han comentado que apenas han rasguñado la punta del iceberg. Por cierto, ellas se presentaron con mucho éxito en el festival metalero Wacken Open Air, Alemania, en 2018, e hicieron un tour por Inglaterra en 2019, abriendo para Dragonforce.

HARUNA, drummer and founder of the group, an authentic drum-machine, called "little big engine"
MIDORI, guitarist (the blonde) and composer, called "crazy shredder"
MIYAKO, guitarist (the dark haired), pianist, main composer, the genius of the group, called "golden touch"
FAMI, bass player, the youngest and very talented, called "shining fingers"
Fami joined the band in 2022, after the former bassist MIHO, that you've seen here (great bass player she also) left the band for personal reasons.

Just a tiny correction, since this is the later version of "We the United", we have Fami on bass. As the guys will soon know, all material up to and including 2021 features Miho, the creator and "mother" of the band, while everything past 2022 is "Fami era".
