Phil said that flow is a mysterious force, but is it really? We all, God willing, know that wonderful state of mind when we’re fully engaged in a task that captivates us - not too difficult, or not too easy. Although, as Phil says, life is about pain, uncertainty, and work, flow is such a joy. There is nothing mysterious:about how delicious it feels. This is true, even if we’re questioning if we’re any good at the work at hand. For me, the mysterious aspect of flow is why we can sometimes jump in the stream with ease, and other times, it seems so elusive. I love these guys! It’s such a great feeling to know that we all experience what I used to think was my cross to bear alone. Whether our shadow seems more inferior, evil, or sick, it’s part of the human experience. I wish I had heard about Phil way back when. His diagrams are more helpful to me more than any therapist. I only have to imagine one in my mind to get me back on track. Bravo! P.S. Adam mentioned how awful Ginger Baker was in the documentary about him. This wasn’t my reaction at all. The film made me think Baker was great fun. I wish I had known him.
Love this and combined with Peter Gerlach's beliefs it is a great combination. He believed we all have parts to ourselves, I would relate that with "shadows" here ...
In all honesty, shit that sits around becomes compost and that's what I'm going to cling to as I take the steps towards getting into creative flow with my pottery!
Thank you so much for sharing this with us. It's a rare gem.
Stupendous. In particular, all that part about committing to be there for the Shadow was very powerful stuff. ❤
I love the pigeons showing up!! Such a great show, so glad i found it tonight!
I loved this meeting.

I love this however I have confusion in the fact that one has to survive, and a lot of the time has to sell they're souls for it ..
