This talk by Les Turnbull explores the rich railway heritage of the Lemington area and in particular the 18th century railway from Callerton, Walbottle and Throckley. Les is a volunteer at the Mining Institute and is recognised as an authority on the history of the Northumberland and Durham Coalfield.

Very informative, grew up in Newburn always knew there was lots of railways round there when my dad was a lad
