    Another beautiful winter day driving Rt. 481. I remember driving old 48 blizzard of 1972, some time in Feb. Going north to Oswego.

    Why arent yall going live anymore? You use to do it with winter storms...You drive and drive out there, we want to come along for the ride, or did some rule change? The last I saw you live was when somebody ended up stuck and had to go off live. I really miss live stream.

      Doubt that. Fulton and that region south and east of Lake Ontario gets upwards of 300 inches of snow a year. Terrible driving up route 81. Terrible.

      Triyono Hendry Snowstorm here in Romania, 3 AM currently.
      90-95km/h wind (extremely fast, you cant walk, you're gonna get blown away), -35*C temperatures. I dont know how much that is in fahrenheit. Maybe 10 degrees F? Electricity cut out for about 9 hours a day which means no heat at all, or cooking (electric stoves). so yeah. Frozen, stuck and hungry :P

    P.s. whts lake-effect snow??

    • @badmonkey2222
      @badmonkey2222 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      They're used to it. And lake effect snow is a localized phenomenon around the Great Lakes, it's when cold air comes over relatively warm air of the Great Lakes, then interacts with land and creates extremely strong snow squalls and snow bands.

      They’re used to it? Maybe so, but apparently still can’t drive in it. And it still astonishes me how people who don’t have the right vehicles still go out in this. And don’t tell me about they get caught in it. There are such things as weather forecasts these days. They think of themselves, and not others.

      @@tommypine9239 I live in upstate NY. Been through this many times. If you want a life in this area you're going to have to learn how to live with it. You have to learn to drive in these conditions. I have seen winters when it would snow like this almost every day for weeks. You still have to go to work, run errands, etc.

    I live in a hot climate. We get 1 to 3 inches of snow throughout the entire winter. I had to click here just to see real snow. Not this fake 1 inch stuff I get in my town. It usually is completely melted away within 24 hours of its falling.

  • @davkarshobby2468
    @davkarshobby2468 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    If you can't see the road because there is so much snow on it and you can't see what is in front of you because the snow is falling so heavily, surely that is a good time to park your vehicle before you go on an Interstate (or anywhere else). It is NOT the time to drive at the posted speed limit with your lights turned off.

    Why do you guys have so much snow in your countries?
    In Germany, it is just bitting cold with no snow laying on the ground😢.
    This winter saison, we almost had -10*C on some days with not even one flake laying on the ground.
    Walking on grass whilst having -10*C is really kind of strange especially when you have a deep frozen lake next to you...

    One more shot at the global warming myth!!!!!!!!!!

    • @davkarshobby2468
      @davkarshobby2468 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Other than these mysterious "scientists" who are spending huge amounts of our tax dollars finding new signs of climate change that in order to fix will give us nothing to do in our spare time, has anyone seen any evidence of global warming? If the weather now is pretty much the same as it was 50 years ago (which is as far back as I can remember) then where is the crisis? 50 years ago I had a car that got 15 miles to the gallon and now I get 35mpg. 50 years ago farmers burned off the stubble in the fields each year, factories spewed unfiltered smoke into the air, our electricity was generated almost 100% from coal and now that we no longer do these things there is no difference to the weather? Could it be that the weather has nothing to do with what we do? The vehicles involved in this crash were not victims of unusual weather - just unusually bad judgment.
