Hi Heather. I hope where you live in Florida, you aren't in the path of the hurricane. That state park is very pretty! The cabin isn't fancy but I could definitely enjoy a few nights there, plus my little dog would enjoy the yard after I made a quick alligator and snake check. Lol. Feel better soon, and thanks for sharing.
Yes, it's a beautiful park - love visiting there! It shouldn't be too awful where I'm at based on current predictions, so hopefully those in the path of the storm stay safe and dry! With these warm waters it's a recipe for rapid intensification for sure!
I just want to say I’m from Florida and you show things I’ve never seen. As a mom thats waiting to live the camper can life you have helped inspire me so much
Enjoyed, did you take the kiddos with you, also you can tell the park that refrigerator doors are reversible opening towards the kitchen instead of opening towards wall😊
Haha, the door on the fridge bugged me too!! The kiddos were with their dad, but I'll definitely have to bring them back another time for a close getaway!
Sorry for the delay, thanks for checking in! I've been in lala land while I was sick, but we made it through Idalia unscathed at home base, thankfully!
@HeathersHikesAndAdVANtures Hey. No need to apologize. The delay had me a little worried. I only know you through your videos. I appreciate you 🙏. I'm glad all is safe. I hope you are feeling better. Take your time through lala land, and do what you have to do. See you on your next video. Bye 👋 Florida girl 👧.
So nice.
Such beautiful views. Recuperate quickly. Stay safe from the hurricane 😊😊
Thank you!
The cabin looks cozy and comfy! Enjoy!😊
Thank you! Very cozy!
What a great place... Especially for $120 per night! Thanks for sharing this. 😊
Yes! Such a great deal, considering the mediocre (at best) hotel rooms that usually gets you in the area over summer! And those views!! 😍😍
Thanks for the video Heather, such a cute cabin! Hope you had fun! 👋🏼
Thank you! Definitely a much needed staycation!
