SO this music is Krishna, but it is impersonal. The perfection of this music would be to act as a servant to the yuga dharma, the method of self realization in Kali yuga which is the chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra, but that is absent. It is very nice music, but it takes center stage instead of making Lord Krishna the center of the stage. Krishna is the ability in man. Talented musicians, but due to the influence of impersonal guru Sri Cinmaya on John Mc Laughlin, he does not do kirtan to glorify Lord Krishna directly. I was a fan of John's when he was in the Graham Bond Organization and saw the Mahavidhnu Orchestra in Toronto. Very talented, but no kirtan so not complete.
