Outstanding! My wife and I celebrate the weekend usually by grilling a steak over charcoal. Gives it a great taste from the juices of the steak hitting the hot coals and steaming the meat with that smokie flavor. Our usual side dishes are baked potatoes (cooked over the coals) and a fresh green garden salad. However, you have inspired me to surprise her this weekend with your beautifully executed meal using a cast iron skillet to incorporate butter and garlic. I will make the mushroom/cheese sauce for sure, but I will have to wing it on a "Pap" replacement. Perhaps garlic mashed potatoes or grilled asparagus. Please continue to add food to your videos, you guys are Great! I will use my Arno Bernard 1116BV Elephant Kudu bone knife to slice the filet into portions for cooking Recently, I used it dressing up a large beef brisket for a BBQ cookout, trimming the fat before cooking, then slicing portions afterwards. Had to keep a close eye on my knife so that my hunting buddies did not steal it. :-) Very best regards from the States. Keep up the good work on the videos, you already make the best knives!

Charcoal gives it an unique flavor! That garlic mashed potatoes or asparagus sounds like a good replacement to me. Thank you for your comment and we will try and as much food videos as we can. We have a beautiful country and delicious food. Appreciate your kind message!

This African food looks really good, when’s dinner served? I’ve never heard of this “pup” before, please explain exactly what this is. Regards from Down Under.

Pap is made from maize-meal (coarsly ground maize) which is similar to US grits. There is a difference in texture, I like pap more than grits.
