I’m just now starting to use some of the Knit Picks yarn I’ve bought years ago. The Brava Sport. I got a bunch of the Upcycle Alpaca last year during the sales, haven’t tried it yet. I’ve got to finish my husband’s sweater, Arcane Fiber Works yarn, then I can wind more. I’ve got big dreams.

Well, you managed to do it. I FINALLY made a purchase at arcane fiber works, I have managed to hold out for soooo long. But that sale! I got 2x Beginning to Bloom. It will be a lovely shawlette for someone for xmas. Thanks for the heads up on the sale.
I found a pattern that I wanted to make and the yarn she used was Arcane Fiber Works in Bird is the Word. I ordered 3 hanks and then ordered 2 more to make a hat to go with the scarf...... I Love This Yarn!!
Runs to look up Woodland retreat. Wow, that’s another really pretty color way. I’ve got one similar to it and it’s stunning. I’m looking at Pretty in Pink and Hug in a Mug but haven’t ordered yet. Those are not my normal colors but are calling to me. Also trying to decide DK or fingering. Fingering for a me size sweater would cost less then DK.

@anotheryarn I usually don't use the bulky yarn too much, so I'm definitely breaking out of my comfort zone. I am one of those people who has to be in the mood to make certain items. I love watching your channel! You are amazing!

I would go for an extra skein at least in crochet. I’m a size 16, large/XL for tops. I knit a long sleeve too in Arcane Fiber Yarn using all but 8 grams of 4 skeins. Unless you are significantly smaller or going for a crop top I wouldn’t chance it with 4 skeins. With the sale right now it’s like buy 4, get 1 free if that helps any.
I'm resisting the yarn sales. I'm buying 2 car seats, 2 double strollers, (one for Nana, one for my daughter) and a new crib (for Nana's house), plus Christmas. Plus, I gotta start using my stash because I'm running out of room since I share part of the craft room with the grandbaby, soon to be grandbabies.
Hey Shannon, I have skeins in my Arcane shopping cart since Friday. I have my subscription choice from him coming up in 2 weeks so hesitating to buy the cart. But it’s so pretty… and I don’t need it, but again it’s so pretty and on sale. I usually buy from Hobbii in Danemark and they have a great sale on too. I am in Canada so I try to buy from Canadian companies or local yarn shops as we have to pay customs on imported orders if it’s over $20. That Arcane is so pretty, in my country and on sale…it’s the Life guardians of the galaxy colour. So pretty…
I get not wanting to pay customs or extra taxes. Arcane yarn is so pretty, I’ve got pretty I’ve not started with so far. Surprisingly the Pretty in Oink and Hug in a Mug are calling me. These are both outside my normal colors too.
