I'd like to see one of these go through a knot on a log because when you try to chop through one the axe binds. Not with this thing.

the first step is to use a maul, not an axe. axes are for slicing, mauls are for splitting

It's easier when it's long. I break down 4m timber before chipping it for biomass.
