a lot of the people talking shit don't win or don't play these stakes, it's a very niche playstyle you need to beat online $5-$150 against specific regs/fish, they don't have enough bluffs on many runouts or the balls to fire with blanks. Keep up the grind from a fellow Canadian low-mid stakes online mtt grinder, love the vids bro
Really appreciate this comment! A lot of people don't realize how nuanced some of the spots can be especially against players that you have a LOT of history with. GTO is not the only factor that goes into decision making in these tourneys. Good luck on your grind!
shouldve folded pre imo but folding flop definitely the right play given the large c bet sizing v UTG. Likely to face multiple barrells hand just gets put in the blender on so many runouts.
Gotta adjust ur play style for the bigger buy ins bro. Maybe at the lower stakes folding aj suited bvb and cold calling a 3 bet with ak is ok, but at these stakes you’ll get run over. Also 3s should go for more value, either barrel turn or raise river against small size. Q10 is close in all honestly, but I’m always calling one and seeing if he shuts down turn and river, which often they will.
I knew I was deviating in both of those spots but sometimes you just get a read not to mention ICM pressure is big in both of those situations. I've been playing these stakes a long time. But ya the AJ fold was a mistake I even said so in the vid
how did you make 44k profit? did you bink 1 big by luck? cause is so tilting watching these nit highlights full of big mistakes. You seem a good dude so I wish you all the best, just curious cause it is very weird to me making profit the way you play.
Easy to be a critic when your not on the felt. Feel free to check the rest of my videos I'm transparent on my wins and losses. If you don't understand how I'm profiting maybe you've got some studying to do ;) Good luck out there
No one ever said playing Conservative poker wasn't profitable its just not considered optimal to maximise your EV Playing tight in certain spots and passing on marginal losing/winning spots can be an extremely good strategy in MTTS
You need to start being more brave with your calls ! Sometimes you gotta risk it to make the money my man ! The pocket 2’s fold in the SB probably cost you a higher finish on the FT but great run, better luck next time dude.
I understand you are going through a down swing maybe but playing scared poker like folding AJ suited (and not 4-betting with AK suited when the big stack is 3-betting with a super wide range!!) is not going to help mate
It’s all player-specific reads in these games… especially in the fishy pool of PokerStars Ontario (reminds me of Ignition). The player pool, besides the known regs, is not 3betting or shoving correctly (way too tight), so I don’t mind a couple of your folds even though it looks nitty on stream. Having a HUD for your Stars tables would really help with reads. Arlie Shaban has a pretty good HUD setup that he uses in his games.
Wow. Srsly. As a real Poker player, u wanna cry, if you see this. I mean there is nothing wrong with beeing tight. But you miss out sooooo many crystal clear Value... Thats actually insane...You must have been very lucy in order to be NOT a break even player only

the AJss fold blind on blind is insane. If your folding that high up it would be profitable to jam any 2 from the bb
haha yup even said it was a mistake in the vid. Adjustments to make for next time!
@@thebigdpoker but your totally right easy to see mistakes when your not the one playing the tournament iv defo made bigger blunders than that
SNAP call especially as the covering stack. People love to rejam any ace in that spot plus all sorts of BS hands
Hey man, keep doing you thing!
All the best on your next tourney lad 👍
GG dude. that 22 fold in the SB haha ouch! I've done the same before however .painful !
🤢
Also the top pair fold is quite surprising with QT

The fold with Q10s is good?
Situational but yes in that spot I think it was correct. That player was not balanced in that spot
Damn the TH-cam comments can be toxic, just wanted to say I love the content. Keep up the good work!
15:22 don’t think dude was over shoving. 22 seems standard
what a nit hahaha
Bro, you are one of my top 3 favorite poker streamers... don't listen to those noobs ❤
Love from belgium my man 😂😂
Love the love! 💗

Ya I said that was a mistake after I made the fold. Also not really going through a downswing right now mostly breaking even this month
@@thebigdpoker okay, good luck!

Maybe one day I'll be a REAL poker player like you. Yours truly, Pokernocchio
Honestly a lot of big mistakes
