The .99 cents transaction was to see if the credit card company had frozen the account or not. Bc notice, the larger amounts were after the smaller amount transactions.

I actually worked this out on Google Earth when this video cane out. I looked at all Walgreens locations in Brooklyn - Queens, there were like 12, 2 of which were in waking distance to a Popeyes, Buffalo wings, and a stop and shop. So I knew one of those two was his location, then I found the closest white castle and it was just out of waking distance from where I assumed he lived. Across the street from the Walgreens in the most convenient location of the others, was a very sketchy apartment complex where 200 apartments existed. The place had a sign in/out sheet for security. After taking to a friend who I know in Brooklyn I asked him to take a picture of the sheet. On all those occasions only one person was out of the building. His name was D'Arius Collins. A quick Google search turned nothing up and sadly the investigation ended there as he didn't accept my Facebook friends request so I could see what he was doing on those days. But yea I'm fairly certain that was him and those wing purchases were for an NFL party because on that day the Giants has a game, well his Facebook profile photo was him in a giants jersey. Case closed

I think Link's thief was buying gift cards at the fast food places.

That's an extremely nice way of looking at it, and it's good that you're someone who gives them the benefit of the doubt lol
So, you could copy your credit card, give it to a friend to go shopping in New York, then get a notification from your bank and pretend it was "stolen" or "copied" by a thief. Then enjoy all the free stuff you got by pretending it wasn't you. Nice.
That is not how it works. Your friend would go to jail, and if you tell them that you gave him your card then he wouldnt go to jail, but you would.
Brainslurpy S They'd need to prove it was the friend that used it. The friend could easily dress in a Burka e.t.c to hide their identity and never be seen. That's why France e.t.c have banned muslims wearing such things.

Who wants some chicken!!!!. I cryed last night over that. This is hilarious.
When I was in second grade, I had this awesome rock. Admittedly, it was only a piece of granite off a slab, but it was still cool to me at the time. I took it to school, showed it to all my friends, and they were like that's so cool! Well, at the end of the day, I was waiting to go home and had my rock out. I needed a drink, asked my friend to watch it, came back and my friend was gone! She never gave it back. Needless to say, we stopped being friends.
This is one of my absolute favourite episodes of GMM
They probably tell their kids the best bedtime stories ever :)
if he was using the card in the actual store, you have the date of the purchase, should have the time of the purchase as well. just call the place(s) up and have them check their security cameras
Back in 2005 someone used my dad's credit card to buy a 20,000 dollars helicopter in the US. True story
I actually worked for an ATM/Debit Fraud Claims department, yep it's crazy what people do.
Like a woman who claimed fraud through an ATM but in reality she made the charges so she was trying to double her money.
I had to inform her we had a woman on the ATM camera making these withdrawals and she immediately hung up.

I had my purse stolen from a hospital where I was admitted and this girl used my checks to take her friends for manicures and fast food. I'm almost more angry with the employees that accepted the checks without checking identification.
Surley one of the stores had CCTV footage back then.

You need some maps and the addresses of those places he frequented. Draw lines between them and find the center of the triangle. Record the times of transactions to see what hours he works if he actually has a job. Based on the caloric intake of the food he bought, you could see how many people he is trying to feed. You could actually find this guy.

My backpack was stolen from one of my art classrooms in college. It had my camera, some art supplies and a sketchbook. The sketchbook was mythical bc every drawing came out perfect. They were of strangers in buses, bookstores, and coffee shops. The craziest part is that I left it unattended for a max of 5 minutes and I knew everyone in the class and was kind to all of them. Blows my mind. I hope they are at least enjoying the drawings.

Yeah but the banks dont involve the cops on any fraud because they say most of the time they waste their resources and never find anything so they don't even try. My sister had like 2,000 stolen once from her card and they did nothing but reimburse it

Call me ancient, but I prefer NOT having a credit card. It removes the temptation of spending. That just leaves the vulnerability of scanning devices on my debit card.

Theory: It's a group of homeless people. They go to marshalls to get new clothes because they're clothes are wrecked and they eat loads of food because theres alot of them and they haven't eaten much in ages. Something that was stolen from me was a charm bracelet. Now that may not seem like a big deal but it was a James Avery charm bracelet meaning it was worth tons of money. I never got it back, but I was able to get one that looks almost exactly the same
