    I was never that interested when they first came out but seeing how well it syncs with other gear really makes a difference. Thanks for posting that range or different jams, it shows it off well.

      Thank you for watching! 🙂
      I could totally relate with you... I wasn't very interested at first either, but I am so glad I gave it a chance because it sooo much fun. 😄

      Wait, it can tempo sync with other gear? That's the one thing that kept me from buying this.

    This video is what "sold" me on finally getting the Kastle, especially when connect to the Microbrute. Thank you, my microbrute and over sound just got very weird and unpredictable.

    Best video to date on what the Kastle can do. Thanks so much. I've bought one of these and still learning . Your video will help a lot.

    I’ve wanted one of these since before the 1.5 came out. They look so fun!! It looks cool to play along with the Volcas and pocket operators. I’ve got a Volca Sample and FM...and I just got my P.O.33 today!!

    Really good demo of this amazing little device. Has made me reconsider adding it to my volcas and PO's collection of noise makers. Would like to get a microbrute too and try patching in the Bastl Kastle. Thanks for the upload.

      Thank you! 😁 I love the Kastle so far. It can be harsh and wild or calm and musical. 👍 Actually... I was quite surprised how musical the Kastle could be.... just takes some patience and careful tweaking. 😉

    Wow great sounds,
    I got one when they first came out but I wasn't up for the task of meeting the Kastle half way.
    I'm going to give it another try, you've inspired me., especially the syncing capabilities. Great stuff.

      @littleBIGsynths  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, they are a lot of fun to mess with... especially when you get other gear involved. This is the updated version of the Bastl Kastl, which has a much better sound and look. 👍 totally worth giving it another go. 😉 Thanks for watching!

    Nice little synth for the backgound ambience... It might be interesting to use it as a secondary oscilllator for the MicroBrute (using the CV pitch control and routing the Kastle's output to the external input of of the MB). ;)

    I'm right on the verge of ordering a Kastle 1.5, and am very curious about exactly how it and the PO-12 are interacting around 5:30-ish in this video (I also use a PO-12 and PO-14). It sounds as if the Kastle is sending a Gate (?) pulse to the PO-12, which is syncing to it? I'm very keen to find out how the Kastle and Pocket Operators can co-operate - many thanks for this video!

    What would you call that white 6 way cable junction thing on the desk. I've been looking for a while and no matter what I search for I just can't find them. I don't know the correct term to search. Thanks

    • @littleBIGsynths
      @littleBIGsynths  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The white star shaped thing is called a Belkin Rockstar. It is a headphone audio splitter. It was designed to take the audio from a single source (ipod/mp3 player) and split the signal up to 5 ways (multiple headphones).
      I tend to use it most a sync signal splitter. 1 sync source to multiple sync destinations.
      There are other products designed specifically for synth related needs... they can be found at www.perfectcircuitaudio.com keyword "passive multiple". 👍
