- Okay, so I'm ending the lil teaser/spoiler Kawk series with this. I'll have more videos of Dawnstar with the Fratpack, new Arngeir convo, some more Kaidan wearing Mara amulet, but hopefully the last few vids have given you an idea of what to expect from this extension to the early romance with Kaidan. Aubrie wrote this, and I'm staying up past my bedtime so she can see it in game tonight.

This is so romantic. Even with the cute awkwardness, Kai swearing his oath feels like he's a knight out of a book. It's romantic in both the romance sense and the adventure sense
The Awk towards the end!!! Love this so much. This is what was missing from the original. After becoming dragonborn everyone just goes about like its nothing but hearing how Vilkas Farkas and Kaidan react feels perfect compared to what was originally written. Excellent work on this you guys are awesome to keep expanding Kaidan like this!!!

OMG this is amazing! I guess you would have to go through the entire Companions questline to get them as followers before you even kill the first dragon though right?
yeah you would if you wanted to see that scene. the kaidan convo at the end isn't reliant on the companions questline but if you want them to react to you being DB you need to finish companions questline first

I've been watching your videos a lot in the last few weeks and i am hooked! Lol I really love how the environment/towns of Skyrim look more realistic.
My stepdad and i have recently been talking about getting a gaming computer and i already know i want to play Skyrim on it. I admit that i am not very familiar with the workings of a computer, and the modding process is getting to be intimidating. While i don't have anyone near me to help, I'm really hoping to get some help from the modding community bc i have no clue what I'm doing lol. Getting my Skyrim to look just like yours is my goal i hope to accomplish. -from a new subscriber 😊
Hi 👋 that’s great you’re getting a gaming computer and yeah, modding seems complex when you first start but there is definitely help out there. We have a really friendly and supportive discord community (link in my bio) that are always happy to answer general modding questions and there’s also some great subreddits for Skyrim modding. A TH-camr I really recommend is gamerpoets, his videos are really easy to understand.

Damn............. now the Companions finally feel like companions of the Dragonborn! And my DB fairy is so gonna be spoiled by a bunch of overprotective big brothers XD
You know, I’ve never interacted with companions after I was done with their quest. I mainly did it for either dialogue with other modded characters, and that was about it. But if IF, and the Kaidan team, was able to make a whole mod that showed that the characters were actually a people. Than I would always do questline as soon as possible.
Which me question why the Kaidan team is so interested in the companions? Not that I’m complaining! After I got the update, I always have the pack with me. But Like,I found them just plain dead after the vanilla quest-line, because they would occasionally just repeat the same dialogue.

initially, given how many people often romanced them before kaidan, they were going to be sort of another romance/angst arc like Brynjolf and Ulfric... but it just didn't feel right.
kaidan's been around skyrim most of his life, so it felt plausible that he'd have friends somewhere, especially once he got older or at the very least people who would know him. looking at their base story potential the two brothers have a lot in common with him. mercenary types where he's a bounty hunter. none of them had traditional upbringings either. from there it was easy to imagine perhaps they'd crossed paths working a bounty and being free spirits all of the same age with similar odd upbringings... it just felt right they would be friends. once that was established... it turned into them becoming friends who choose to become family. ❤
