Really well said all the way through, especially with the point that the Sequel era needs time to be properly accepted/integrated as iconic the way the Prequels were to the children that grew up with them. Even as somebody who quite really enjoyed the sequels, it does feel like not enough time has passed for me to look back nostalgically on them in that same way. On another note, personally I'm most looking forward to the Ahsoka series, and if there was one thing that hasn't been confirmed yet that I'd love to see, it'd be a post-Rise of Skywalker trilogy/show(s) following Rey, Fin, and Poe (really looking forward to wherever that story's taken). I do think that some sort of continuation of the story is an inevitability, it's just a matter of when!
Thanks! I must admit I'm terribly sentimental and I already think back on The Force Awakens with a degree of nostalgia! Yes I agree an Episode X or some sort of continuation of Rey, Finn and Poe's story will come sooner or later, although to be honest I'm glad they're letting the sequels breathe for a while before returning to that world - hopefully like with Episode I and VII it will help to build the anticipation
Could you make a video essay about objectivity and subjectivity in film criticism? There has been a large war when it comes to how films are reviewed and I want to know what you think. Great video, by the way. The sequels certainly deserve more appreciation and I think that can happen if there is an expansion on the lore based around the trilogy comes around, like a new tv series.

Thanks! Objectivity/Subjectivity is a real interesting topic at the minute and I'd love to do a more in-depth video on it soon, thanks for the idea!
