RV Renovation | Our AMAZING Travel Trailer Camper Remodel | RV Renovation Tour
Take a tour of our Camper, RV, Tiny Home, whatever you want to call it. We completely renovated it and you will be amazed! It is a 2010 Keystone Cougar XLite 30BHS 33' Long with 2 Slideouts. We did some custom designs and put a little of everything into it. This camper remodel is Farmhouse, Scandinavian, and Modern Luxury all in one. We love DIY projects and want to share them with everyone, we hope that these videos will help give you some renovation ideas. Leave a comment and maybe we can sprinkle a tutorial in here and there to show you how we did things!
We hope that at the very least this will inspire you to do the same, or possibly give you some ideas for your very own diy renovation.

You guys knocked it out of the ballpark! Love the epoxy countertops, I’ve been seeing videos of them and thought they would look great in an RV due to the weight. Great designer elements and simplicity.

Abby…….you guys did an amazing job!!!! Love it!!!! However, I wish you had shown us a little more of the interior as well as the exterior. Would have like to have seen the toilet and inside of the shower, wanted to see what that extra bottom bunk bed looked like fully extended, and wanted to actually see how spacious the inside of your cabinets were. 😉

Thank you Jennifer! Chris is actually working on putting the video together and will hopefully have it up this weekend :) It is an epoxy kit, some metallic powder, and special techniques to get the marble look.

Can you please talk about the process of laying flooring under the slides? I'm worried that my slide will scratch the new floors. Mine has carpet right now, but the slide dips when coming in and out.

What color is the paint on the lower cabinets? You guys did an awesome job. It’s so calm and soothing. Also, how did you do the tv/fireplace wall? Do you have videos of how you did things?
Thank You! We used Sherwin Williams paint, for the cabinets we used their Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel and the lowers were tinted to their "Rainwashed" color.
The tv/fireplace wall was completely custom made by Chris using MDF and some 2x3's to frame it out and then he used Epoxy to coat it and give it the marble look. He will have a tutorial video out on how to do the epoxy in the near future!

Did you guys do a video on how you replaced the flooring? We have a Keystone with that same slide setup. I HATE having carpet and would love to copy your flooring. Your RV looks so pretty now. #jealous
We have not done a video on that unfortunately. We used a vinyl plank waterproof flooring. At the slide we ran the flooring under the slideout a couple inches when full extended and ran a bead of liquid nails to keep in held in place. The rest of the floor was just floating to allow some flexibility and movement during travel. Flooring the slide itself was a little tricky doing a transition. We ended up having to use a strong super glue to hold down the transition pieces along the edge of the slideout (we originally used liquid nails and it broke loose after several in and out slides).
AWESOME! Question about windows... I'm planning on renovating my RV - so just finding these reno vids. Question about window coverings. A LOT of folks have awesome curtain ideas (like kitchen towels hanging). BUT - they don't cover the window. There are no blinds. There are no blackout blinds. ???
Anyone can look in at night - even with modern 'blackout' windows and shades, I'm still a little sensitive to anyone being able to see in.
So - do you have blinds at all? What's that solution you've found that goes with the AWEESOME esthetic you' have both built in there? (love it by the way!)
I am anticipating sewing my camper blinds here soon; I purchased actual black out fabric from hobby lobby to sew onto the back of regular fabric for curtains. You can also find thick weave fabric that naturally gives privacy. I hope that helps!

The dish towels were something I found a local retail store like Walmart 🙂

Unfortunately it doesn't look like they're making this exact one anymore, I can't find it. It is just a smaller 10 cu ft refrigerator, but still a huge upgrade in size from the original RV refrigerator.

Where did you get the curtains separating the bunk area and how did you hang them? It’s hard to see the full curtain in the video
The curtains are the same throughout the camper... They are actually just dish towels that I folded and used clips with rings to clip onto the towel and slide onto a curtain rod.
