absolutely superb . trains always fascinate me. tourism ministry should promote these aggressively specially to foreign tourists . the scenery here is similar to the ones found in south east Asia.

Add map of your journey and route on screen during introduction of video.
It will immensely make audience relatable to journey !
The traction happens in Chaparmukh Jn for all those trains coming in this route as till Chaparmukh, the route is fully electrified!
In Lumding the direction gets changed and the front engine acts as bankers from Lumding till Badarpur after then which again the train reverses the direction which going to SILCHAR

A train runs directly to Agartala (AGTL) from my hometown Faridkot (FDK) in south-west Punjab [Tripura Sundri Express which was earlier used to run between New Delhi (NDLS) & Agartala, now extended till last station of India this side, Ferozepur Cantt(FZR)]. Hope I'll fo a journey on it someday. From Northwest to North East ❤
This used to be Meter Guage and only two passenger carrying trains used to run on this track that used to take 12 hours to travel the entire section.
Oh lovely.
In 1988 October we visited Upper Haflong and stayed at a hotel called Jayashree.
We also visited Jatinga where birds commit suicide.
That is a natural phenomena and scientists are still breaking their heads to find out the reason of bird's enmass suicide.
Stayed 2 nights and explored a lot that time.
Feeling nostalgic bro...

Train journeys are better than Bus covering the north east State and tourist places is important because 90% of Indians don't know about North East State Also so I think we should travel in North East State names even so everybody knows about these states

Chaparmukh junction is the station near to us. My father worked there as a station master for 19 years and thn as dy. Superintendent for a year. N its LUMding not loomding.

For your information the spelling is Lumding but in Assam we pronounce it as "Laamding"
Great show, I belong to Silchar and stay in Delhi. I describe may times to North Indians about the scenic beauty of Lumding to Silchar/Agartala train route (travel in the morning trains)
