Nancy Pelosi has had her fun a speaker of the house on and off for the past years. The first time she took the position as speaker of the house was during the administration of George W Bush and even though she and him had different political views, they managed well to get along with each other. And she had a good friendship with John Bohner who was also speaker of the house during the Obama Administration and she even had the speaker of the house position more than once. And when Trump came to Washington DC to become the US President, she had mixed feelings and so did Chuck Schumer. And when she taken the position as speaker of the house with Trump, she tried work with him and make agreements with him but he didn't like what she was saying and when Trump overstepped his boundaries as President, that's when she began to the impeachment craziness and it was a never ending argument. Some Republican Senators took sides with him and the rest decided to against him such as Mitt Romney. And when Joe Biden won the 2020 election, Trump was outraged and furious of what happened and he didn't want to admit that he lost the election but he did. And on January 6th 2021 was the day of the insurrection and it was horrifying and a nightmare. So Nancy thankfully survived the craziness and the madness. And after Biden was sworn in as US President along with his VP Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer were filled with joy and relieved that the nightmare was over. And she took on the position as speaker of the house with Joe Biden as President, she was filled with joy again. But after her position as done, it was time to bring in a new speaker of the house. Kevin MCcarthy and he tried to work with Biden but it wasn't easy for him. And some Republican members of congress weren't happy with him and they wanted him kicked out and afterwards he stepped down. Now Mike Johnson from LA is the new and current speaker of the house. Let's see what happens when Biden gives out his next state of the union speech. As for me, I'm a registered Republican in my home state of CT but I'm not a MAGA extremist Republican. I'm a kind and understanding and respectful registered Republican in CT and if Nancy Pelosi came to my apartment in West Hartford CT, I would show her and her husband hospitality and make them feel welcome and I would say, "Nancy, there's a few things I would like to say.
1. I'm deeply sorry of what you went through on January 6th 2021 and I'm deeply sorry for what happened to your husband as well.
