I started at 11:18 PM now the time is 4:10 AM 😆. Took note of every formula & Checked the Curriculum side by side. I will come back after Nov '23 exam and will share my experience. Good luck, CFA peeps! May the financial universe bend in your favour! Edit; Passed L1
Just want to come back and say thankyou!😊 Passed lv1 with 90+ percentile and your formula is definitely one of the reason for that. For lv2, I planned to go through it in a bit slower pace cause now i got job to do(thx to lv1 i think i helped a lot!) and i want to grasp all the topic deeply. But, just wanna say thank you🫡 and i hope everything goes well for me in lv2 as well😅.
Congratulations and happy for u @jokosupeno and i am planning for CFA level 1 August 25 attempt and getting bit of confused from where shall i do coaching it will be gr8 if u share ur one and experience how were ur coaching and few names i have 1). In a few words, I would say that you need to know all the concepts as well as all the formulas (I think 90%oh these are mentioned in this video). You also need to master the ethics part, really important, and of course what helped me a lot is to do around 5-6 mock exams during the last 10days before the exam. Good luck.
Come back here today after my result. Passed and on top that above 90th percentile , probably around 95th percentile. I really only revised this formula 1 day before exam! Thanks!!@@talk2see
Mate, your video is as someone already said, really great. After checking all the formulas one by one, the only mistake I found was on the M-squared one... you shouldn't subtract Rm, namely, the second term on your equation should simply be, +Rf. Hope it helps, and thank you again for this cool formulas compilation!
Hi, this one is a bit weird because there are different versions of the formula, depending on where you read it, I think Kaplan is substractingt Rm but CFA institute doesn't... I never managed to know which was the correct one....
That's too funny man, I am using quite similar techniques to remember. Weird acronyms and all of that. It's so much fun to learn that way, there's different ways to reach rome for sure.
I have been doing a lot of Mocks in preparation for my exam on the 24th of August, a lot of missing formulas and a few incorrect ones. Please be vigilant in getting formulas guys
Like we mentioned, these are the formulas we used to pass and we believe are necessary. If you have any that you notice are wrong please let us know specifics!
Hi , I'm thinking for CFA course but I'm a not maths student. (I'm doing bachelor of commerce). Please tell me are those formulas hard to remeber/use or easy if once I take the course and watch lecture. It will help me deciding my future study please answer? Thankyou
Is hard to study and solving? Or when i understand the rule i can solve without any problems? Because in first page i see rules its hard not easy or with time i can solve.
Regarding DOL: I think it should be (delta_percentage of EBIT)/(delta_percentage of Quantity), not sale, where sale = P*Q, not Q. I know Kaplan wrote that but it is probably wrong.
