Neither killed the game.. there are communities devoted to it. The game died in large part because of basic qol changes the community begged for that simply didn’t get implemented until the masses quit. Not because someone solo’ed a dungeon…

Haha yeah I think I tried the void gauntlet for 1 named mob and I tried it 1 time on final boss, but didn’t realize until after the run that it was 600 GS and I forgot to upgrade it lol! xD
good job mate. i was so proud clearing NORMAL garden solo in 45 min, then i see this and think: ok i have a long way to go. if i would try Muta SY i think ill go in med spear/rap/bow and heavy axe/hammer. btw u can skip the first big zone by just activating barrels and resetting on tent, then u only have to kill 1-2 muskets/dogs

Of course not! You can make your own strategy and builds to do whatever you want to do in this game! I’m hoping we’ll start seeing more solo content like this so we can see other strategies and builds :D
Hey, good question :D so I kinda skimmed this at 1:52:06, but I'll go more in-depth here. When you use a weapon that scales with 2 attributes (such as spear, with scales with dex and str), it does not scale evenly with those 2 attributes (Greatsword will be an exception once it is released). Spear scales mostly with dex, so there's a sweet spot somewhere near 150 str and 200 dex where you will get more spear damage if you stop puting points into dex and put them into str instead. So my attributes were just maximizing dps while making sure I had enough con to survive (exception at barrels). You can see your damage numbers on the right side of the attributes window, which makes it easy to play around with it a bit :D

Not really… yeah, the dogs would’ve been the biggest challenge without the cheese, but each barrel is still a challenge as they each take 30-45 minutes of attempts once you figure out the strategy and don’t cheese the 1st one. And then final boss can be a challenge as well since you have limited attempts depending on your time remaining

hey, welcome to the game :D m10 means mutated level 10. mutated dungeons are the regular dungeons, but they have added mechanics to make it more difficult, the mobs deal more damage, and the mobs are harder to kill. Sorry I can't help with the question about getting that set. I have no idea what set that would be, let alone where to get it :/
I dont mind having 1 mage in my mutated runs, except genesis where caretaker can be a harsh dps check. but like a void gauntlet/frost gauntlet in corrupted dungeons, laz, or bnb? sure :D
Logitech G502 HERO. It’s quite affordable on Amazon, lasts a several years, and has some extra buttons that makes consumables, swapping weapons, and auto running much more convenient
Yeah, Oro will attack a few times - like maybe 5 times and then stop if you are standing in the correct spot. In the safespot, there’s enough space that you can move your character around. Your character must be all the way in the corner, with your back to the wall, otherwise Oro will continue to attack
Ah good point, I shouldn’t have used void gem since it’s a void mutation because the mobs absorb void damage. The idea was that corrupted is strong against strike damage, so an elemental conversion gem will be the best dps booster and corrupted is weak against void. However, the void mutation changes things and I should’ve used something else xD seems like it doesn’t make enough of a difference to prevent a solo run though xD
How are you doing this I can't past m6 with a group. I've done if last 3 days about 6 times and kept failing and bronze. I'm a healer on Nysa it takes like 2 hours to find a group especially a tank. When i find a group of randoms the dps keep getting 1 shot. I reckon they don't have ward and gem gear so they get wrexked. I probably won't even log in today as I feel broken with this week's mutation 😭

I'm curious too, I'm a returning player just about to attempt my first layer of mutations, I can't comprehend how big of a gap there is between 600 and 625 gear score. What factors allow you to perform in higher mutations? Let a lone solo!
@@MrFladire besides the gear, I really think it just takes practice. this video is the result of almost 12 hours of attempts, practicing, and theory crafting. Once you spend that much time repeating problematic areas (for example, I spent 1.5 hours on barrels during my first attempt, and another hour my second attempt), you start to find some patterns and little tricks to make it go a little smoother. same for the bosses -- I spent close to 5 hours attempting to clear the final boss, including the 1 hour of attempts I had in this video. At that point, you have a plan for each part, you know what mobs will spawn where, and you have an idea of what you need to do to make it work

This is what i never liked about new world, it plays so much like a souls game but they forget to narrow down the enemy numbers... you get ganked every fucking time and it just puts you down and kills your interest. AM I RIGHT?
man this game looks so rough around the edges and dull to play....what a shame that a studio with infinite budget came up with graphics/animations from 2004

Iʻm a bit new to the min/max New World scene but why are your attributes slotted as they are?

It shows my mana because the mutation drains mana. So my mana bar appears when fighting named mobs
