Great video with some great clarity. EM lighting is so miss understood and fittings are often well below the standards. Hopefully lots of people will see this series and we will gradually see improvements all round. Well in eFixx.
Joe in the event of a fire evacuation what was you tort at school and during fire drills at work. And is steel tort today? 1) leave the building quickly and calmly by the quickest and safest route don’t stop to collect personal belongings 2)walk don’t run . Therefore the fire escape lights are non compliant as they show a person running , not walking.
Is it ok to fit a glow in the dark arrowed exit sign below or above a bulk head emergency light with no sticker emergency arrow on the front of the bulk head light .

Shocker! We'll have a word with BSi...
@@efixx you know I’m right , even the fire brigade teaches the same fire drills when they visit schools.
To client: you need to do some changes to you're installation. Client: does it cost money? Me: yes Client: no thanks.
😂 True, true...
I have that book for emergency lighting well worth getting if installing emergency lighting.
Great video
Thanks much. 😊

The sign doesn't have to be internally illuminated but it does need a certain amount of light on its face when the lights fail. 👍
