This is my first video in almost a year. 2014 was probably the worst year for me ever. In the span of about 5 months my mother was diagnosed with cancer then passed away, I moved out of my abusive father's house and was couch hopping and living in motels for about 7 months. I now have my own place thank God but life hasn't gotten much better.
This song has pretty much been my anthem for the past few months since I first heard it. I met a guy, he seemed like a good guy. I didn't want to get hurt so soon after losing my mom so I told him we can just be friends with benefits, he wanted a relationship even after we slept together a couple of times, so I eventually gave in considered him my boyfriend. Needless to say he didn't treat me as anything more than a friends with benefits except I got less sex. And then one day out of the blue he hurt me and ended things through text. So this song is basically everything to me and I just like Simon and Alisha so I used them.
