The whole "mothra never dies" bit is a reference to old movies where each time mothra died an egg hatched and a new mothra appeared. In kotm, diuring the credits there is an article that says an egg was found.
Also godzilla and mothra aren't really a couple, in old movies they fought many times actually, but in the monsterverse they have asymbiotic relationship, so fans like to ship them because there aren't many option for a ship with godzilla and mothra is just one of the more popular monsters.

The whole "Mothra not dying cause she laid an egg thing" is cause each egg she lays carries all her memories so even though she dies the next Mothra that hatches knows everything the previous one knows. It's like dying then waking up the next day in a new body. In the end credits of KOTM a giant moth egg was found meaning Mothra will return one day.

@@zyncsgamingchannel9602 I have a theory that when the females of the species mate with a male it creates an entirely new offspring not a reincarnation of one parent or the other, but when females reproduce asexually it's basically reincarnation. So say Mothra finds a male and mates with him, she'll birth an actual offspring rather than a copy of herself.

Mothra basically relies on Godzilla to do the dirty work and keep the titans in check, while Mothra helps him out with healing and sacrificing herself so Godzilla can go thermo-nuclear.

The whole monster thing where she can't die is basically it's basically she basically turns into an egg after she dies and then it hatches a few days later or I don't know and then it's a new monster but the same monster has the same consciousness and memory like she remembers her last death like burning to make sure Godzilla is a thermonuclear

Instead of watching the mothra battle animation you coud've listened to another song by the same guy who made mothra sings a song, it was called "Alligator sings a song" from the movie crawl, you might know nothing bout it but its a good song!
