DIY Confetti Cannon

The confetti cannon. Arguably one of the best things to bring to any celebration. But what does one use to make one? In this video we’re going to show you how we made ours. For the barrel we used a toilet paper tube and for launching the ammo, a spring. It needed to be automated. That way it could be controlled from afar. We used a servo from Micro Center and made an arm for it using a dowel and a popsicle stick. We used a drill press to make the holes in the wood. For controlling the servo, we used the same RC receiver as our Water Bottle Air Boat. Here’s the confetti launcher in action. You can attach the confetti launcher to a variety of things, like: A hat, a Chick-fil-a drink holder robot, or simply place it on a flat surface.
