Those serial 1’s are cool, I bought a rush/city speed myself. The limited one you were riding is worth some serious coin. When I saw the tires I couldn’t believe one was being used for drunken antics. Awesome.

I live 1 hour from Yosemite in cali my whole life, just went there for my 1st time ever last weekend at 45 years old.. As far as rubber/solid v-twins go I have an 2009 Buell XB12Ss that I have to run around with a wrench and Loctite once a week LoL...

We've got Victor Devine in Glasgow, the Dudes about 90 years old and still running his Dealership! I was in there buying a Fireblade and a Customer 72 years old was buying 1000cc Honda Crosstourer. I've seen guys in their 80's letting rip on Hayabusa's , gives you a chuckle 😂😂

I can relate, I live 20 minutes from Laguna Beach, CA and It's been about 5 years since I set foot on the sand.
Had a buddy down in the Miami when I lived in Pensacola. Someone asked us in a group chat about how great it must be to go to the beach whenever we wanted. We were both like " What do you mean? We live here and work here. We can't just go to the beach whenever 😆"
Though I do miss hitting up Flounders and Calypso's on Pensacola Beach

I love my 1988 Softail. Don't check bolt , or any tightness , but it's been all good. Jayman..
I've run into alot of people that swear by simichrome. I've never used it. It it has any rust on it I use never dull. If it's really rusty aluminum foil will cover up the missing chrome for a short while, making it look a bit better.
Josh, quick, frugal bike cleaning trick: lemon pledge. I use it on the whole bike, from the windshield down to the chrome and the black stuff, and it puts the same shine on it your fancy stuff does… for like $3 a can 👍
I use Everclear, you can drink it and degrease with it at the same time.
Hey Josh I was at MMI today very cool seeing You, cheyleesi and Kamybay. I didn’t get a chance to say hello I had to go back to class. Bert was impressive and his ethos was cool. Would like to ride with you one day. Kamybay is just as smoking Hot in person as on video maybe more .

Softtails don't vibrate because the engines are counterbalanced. That's why the Softtails use the "B" engine. B for counter ballanced.

On older cars/trucks/bikes that's been sitting a while and they have that white stuff on top of the paint. Get some goop hand cleaner. You will be surprise. It's a cheep way to bring life back to old automobile paint. Use it my old spitfires when I had them and people ask how long did I spend cleaning it up. 15 minutes the whole car. Use it on my newer trucks out here in nowhere Ville.

I love your videos Josh, but please consider the hazards of fueling a motorcycle with the rider still sitting on the bike. If the bike were to tip or if you overfilled, you could end up with a fuel soaked crotch just before the gas hits the hot engine below. Riders have been seriously burned doing this. There are videos on utube where this happened. Best to get off the bike before gassing up.

For people who don’t understand owning a motorcycle that requires a lot of attention, I recommend the book “Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance”. Which is not really about Zen or motorcycle maintenance but a good read.
Def one of my fav books...'bout time for a re-read. Not for everyone though! Must be into lots of introspection and philosophy!
