Highly impressed with how much material you and some of these other guys have. I live in Greensboro, NC and I wish I had .25 of the knowledge y'all have with death metal....we just never had great record stores around here, besides 1 place that closed down years ago. But thank you for inspiring me to hit rewind and check out some of these bands you've shown us. Just listening to CC is weird around here....where are the metal heads?????

Well it looks like I have some homework for today! I’ve yet to get into Bolt Thrower, or Vital Remains. I’m just now getting into Gorguts and Morbid Angel so I’ll have to check those albums out too!
Awesome list! Great to see Immolation’s “closer to a world below”. Would love to hear thoughts on these songs. I feel like all their songs on this album are so well written. Vigna accents the heavy base lines with dissonant higher pitched cords and notes, while the riffs mesh so well together and never tire the ear showing perfect contrasts. From lyrical hooks to musical ones I don’t think there is another album this complete. For example, musically, vital remains is awesome but vocal song structure wise , would like to hear more powerfully accentuated and memorable hooks. All rasp looses power and force behind the lyrics. I think Jeff Bacerra of Possessed has brought this back.

So fucking geeked you mentioned close to a world below, that and Harnessing Ruin are my favorite Immolation albums. I would have added Dark Tranquility's Fiction to this as well as Bloodbath's Nightmares Made Flesh.

Solid choices! I'd say from the top of my head Suffocation - S/T, Vader - Impressions in Blood, Cannibal Corpse - Kill, Monstrosity - Spiritual Apocalypse, Deicide - The Stench of Redemption, Gorguts - Colored Sands

Ben NG Macabre Eternal and The Headless Ritual got very strong consideration
i'd like to recommend you 2 tips:
1st - put some tracks under the video when you talk, not too much loud, they haven't to be louder than your voice. This will make the video more enjoyable;
2nd - after you finished to talk about an album you could put an its song (with its artwork on screen, for example, TH-cam shouldn't claim the copyright for some few seconds of a track) so for those who don't know the album can listen to it and understand what he has in front of him. :)
i didn't know most of the albums you showed so the second tip could have helped me and many others i'm sure.

Nicola Faella I don't include music in my videos for several reasons. I don't want any sort of copyright infringements or restrictions attached to my videos, and I don't want the music to distract from what I'm saying, which is what my content focuses on. I also include links to some of the bands or albums I talk about in the video description, though not all the time because then people could just look at the description and not watch the video to see what I talk about. thanks for the advice, but I know what I'm doing.

Background music isn’t necessary, and I think it would get annoying having a song from the album shoved in your face after every one he mentions

Absolutely agree on your opinion about Gateways. I think this is the album that displays MA‘s lyrical mythological concept the best as it sounds super dark and complex. By far the best Tucker album and on par with their very best albums with Vincent (which would be Blessed, Covenant & Domination for me).
I agree! But i must mention Deicide "Insineratehymn" album, such an underrated album also. Just the song on this album: Forever Hate You . Amazing underestimated song and album!

love that Asphyx record, so heavy and plodding in parts. Death/Doom might be a bit of a pidgeonhole for them but they really do know how to create slow, glacial like death metal parts.

Really excellent choices. With regards to Deicide, while I agree that In Torment, In Hell is underrated, I personally would have picked To Hell With God instead.
Love those Manilla Road posters along with that Archgoat flag! Anyways, are you into any other power metal bands?
I would add Dismember's The God That Never Was, and the Unanimated comeback album after being dormant for like 15 years.
Not including any Autopsy albums is a real head scratcher for me, I worship them.
I'd change "Frozen in Time" with "Darkest Day" cos I felt Ralph (RIP) really complimented Obituary's sound well.
Also, I'd go with Deicide's "Stench of Redemption" any day (again cos of Ralph) but it's true that "In Torment..." isn't as bad as many say it is.
In torment in hell is strictly for bad asses.
I also think The Stench of Redemption is also very underrated!

Love Evisceration Plague! Fucking behemoth of a record. But I have to say, if i'm going post 2000 CC, Gore Obsessed takes the cake! Every song is an absolute banger. I also may feel that way for personal reasons, as it was my first purchased CC record. Either way, you can literally put every post-2000 CC album up here and you can't go wrong.
I love your videos and your lists but the classic Swedish scene is sadly overlooked in this selection...some great albums by Grave, Dismember & Unleashed in the 2000's. Cheers! Edit: I forgot Hypocrisy & Necrophobic...my bad!

Also never understood why everyone hates In Torment In Hell that much and loves Scars for example. I think In Torment is maybe their best album after their first four.
