I remember replaying this song non-stop while downloading the game after begging my parents to buy the game when the internet was so hyped about this game. I logged into the game, the orginal 21 characters and it was so fun including competitive back in season 1. I would play that game non-stop. It's sad how the state of the game is now and the chance of it being like it was in season 1 might never happen. It was fun while it lasted and still kinda is time to time.

The sense of heroic triumph and adventure in this song is just SO DAMNED GOOD. It's utterly heartbreaking knowing how far the Overwatch IP has fallen since this song was released. All that potential, all of the interesting characters, the rock-solid gameplay and creative mechanics, EVERYTHING. There was something special here. It was shiny and new. Then it all collapsed. Controversy after controversy, greed being prioritized time and time again, it was like an avalanche of every possible poor decision they could have made from a game perspective and from a company public image standpoint. Overwatch had genuine potential to be something incredible. Now it's just going to be remembered as the game that's stained by the legacy of its parent company. T_T

Overwatch was my favourite game, I tried my hand at esports, streamed and made friendships I still have to this day because of that game... that game is gone now, replaced by a cheap replica... and yes this song and the others live on, keeping the memory of what that game was and everything is gave to us.
