    Our Notes:
    vv.1-7 (Plague of the livestock)
Moses went to Pharoah and warned him, and the LORD set a time and only affected only the Egyptian animals, not the Hebrews.
Animals were regarded as gods and this also affected their economy.
Here we find the fifth plague, the death of livestock. This was a judgment on **the goddess 'Hathor' and the god 'Apis'**, both depicted as cattle.
    vv. 8-12 (Plague of Boils)
Unannounced plague, they took soot from a furnace and tossed it in the air, and boils broke out on people and animals, suggesting that not all animals died with the previous plague.
The magicians could not stand in front of Moses because of how bad the boils were.
Pharoah did not let them go, his heart was hard.
Cleanliness is paramount in Egyptian society, this plague pronounces
the people "unclean." The magicians who have been seen throughout the
previous plagues are unable to perform ceremonial rituals to their Egyptian
Gods and Goddesses in this unclean state, not allowing them to even stand
before Pharaoh; they are seen in the scriptural account no more.
    vv.13-35 (Plague of Hail)
God could have sent a plague to completely wipe the Egyptians off the earth, but God was holding back.
Nut- Egyptian Goddess of the Sky
The pharaoh was warned about the hailstorm and some feared the Word of the Lord and saved their slaves and animals.
Hail and fire flashed in that time as well as thunder. Every plant and tree was affected except for the land of Goshen.
Pharoah seems to repent but lies yet again, very deceitful and selfish.
Moses had discernment and knew the truth of Pharoah, he likely walked between the clouds.
