Good morning, ACE rabbit farm. I really appreciate the content you provide. I am from the Caribbean; Trinidad and Tobago and looking forward to venturing into rabbit. farming. I would like a closer look at your cage lock it appears that you use different types 11:18 with the pros and cons and also door sizes. KEEP FARMING

I have the 2x3 ft but later decided to build 2x4 ft ( for breeding does) which is the best size so far irrespective of the litter size. Keep up the good work. Anyway, I'm still waiting to get the hybrids from Elliot

I like the fact that you evolved from 2x3ft to 2x4ft. This is due to your own observation on your farm. Priceless 👌

Please 🙏 is Timothy hay good for rabbits

Timothy hay is the "best" grass hay for rabbit if it is available in your area. However, teff is equally as good. The only difference is that Timothy hay has higher crude protein content that teff. Everything else, Timothy and teff are on par. So depending on availability, both are great 👍 👌. Look out for a detailed comparative video shortly..

Hi ace farm the flooring isn’t suitable for the rabbits as it can lead to sore hocks on the feet

Absolutely 💯%correct. We do see sore hocks occasionally on the farm. A nightmare for us and especially our breeding stock as they live much longer on the farm. We have introduced plastic floor mats which seem to help. But I am interested to hearing from you if you have found a solution to sore hocks...🙏

@@acerabbitfarms finished/ polished wood is suitable for them or even old tiles vinyl if need be , I wouldn’t advice plastic as this can become very hot especially during summer, as it become hot resulting in them overheating leading to high chance of dehydration, or anything with rubber as they can chew through which can go into their digestive track.

We have tried the tiles in the past but not the finished / polished wood. Certainly, we will add that to our things to do lists. Thanks again 🙏
