❤ your explanation of the gfci/gfci breaker is the best. Several other site's missed points and explanations in the amount of detail you did. Thank you
I got a new home, and at the beginning, everything was fine with the loundry washer machine. After a few months, it started tripping the gfci eaton breaker. I have a basic knowledge about electricity. I check all terminals, adjust all of them, clean the cable tip, and reseat the breaker, and it work for a short time, but after a few loads in the spinning cycle, it trip. Apart from the video recommendation, what did you recommend. Thanks excellent video content.
Ground (bare copper), always on the opposite bar than the white? Is that what they mean by separating neutral and ground at first point of disconnect? Thanks!
In my demonstration it is set up like a sub panel. I have definitely been to homes where I have installed them where the nuetrals and grounds were together and it did work. If you do it, let us all know if they do work for you
@@MountaineerOutdoors Thank you ! I installed three 20 amp circuits for receptacles in my outbuilding. Also one 30amp 220. Used your videos to learn how to bend pipe. Had three 3 point saddles 😤. Wasted some pipe but got it done. Just passed my rough inspection. It will a be couple weeks before I can finish but I will let you know how it turns out. Take care.
As I understand the NEC 2020 requires these for kitchens, including dedicated circuits for the refrigerators and dishwashers, plus bathrooms. It’s odd that your local code just says bedrooms. They would be the least concerning to my way of thinking.
Hi Sir. What is the best way to find the neutral for a 200 amp servies that is full of brakers? I have the hot, but the neutral is giving me a problem. thanks
Have you installed a tandem AfCI breaker? I looked online and did not see 2 Neutral spaces on the tandem load. If you have any info on these as I have It use them? Thanks
The biggest problem with these AFCI breakers is they keep tripping , the home owner then replaces them with a standard breaker, which is bad enough, but they replace a 15 amp with a 20amp !!!! I have encountered this alot
You explanation helped the most others I saw skipped showing the ground wire connection. Thank You
Thank you for your comment and watching. I try to be as thorough as possible. Have a great day

Something might be wonky with your washer. It's sensing something not correct.
Does Siemens Q type make these things? Does Lowes have these things ?

They cannot be in contact with each other. So as long as they will not have continuity between them that is good
Is that panel set up like a sub panel? In my panel the ground and neutral are on the same lug? Can I still install a dual function breaker? Thank you!

So if I install this fuel. The outlets can just be a cheap one? I don’t need to buy a GFCI outlet?
If you do it that way, I would get the stickers that day gfci protected
Great Video was very helpful
Awesome I appreciate you watching and commenting

Well that's how we roll here. Alot of locals in Virginia are like that still. It will change though I feel certain
Any update about these on a panel that shares neutral and ground buses?
Not that I am aware of

It should be the biggest wire on the nuetral bar
@@MountaineerOutdoors
I have 63 neutral wires.
Use a tone generator or a circuit finder aka (fox and hound)
Where did you get does dual breaker with the purple tab
I bought mine from Lowe's.
I need them in my house
Siemens has a self testing dual function breaker

I have not used them just single ones. Is this what you are talking about? amzn.to/3j6FjVm Seems like it would work,if you had to use it.
thank for the info it was a good video I think you always have good information keep it Comin thanks.
I appreciate your comment and watching ☺
110 or 220?

Congratulations for you video and share it.

I can not find Eaton 30 amp dual function GF/AF. I am confused, please advise.
Do you need a 30?
@@MountaineerOutdoors I have the 30 standard. but i was looking for a dual GFCI/AFCI, It dos not exist.
I believe that you are right I looked too.
Thankyou mi friend
Always, I appreciate you watching and commenting ☺
How do you know if ones bad

I agree
If there tripping your doing something wrong
These things are so expensive. Are they really worth it? A regular breaker is like $7 and these things are >$50 and the tandem ones are close to $100.
Yes they sure are. You can't put a price on your life, plus they are code.
It would be more expensive to rebuild your house because of a fire
👍👍
Sorry, did not learn anything. Trouble understanding why the digital meter was behaving in a confusing manner? thank you
I can always count on your honesty. Not sure about that meter either
Why didn't you explain what ark fault why we use them. About series parallel faults I really think you shouldn't do electrical work .
I really think you need to learn how to make a full sentence and learn how to spell 😂 😂
Eddie is a hater with a micro
Yes I was to busy throwing up after your video. Maybe
You should go to apprentice school.
@@MountaineerOutdoorsMy guy, these guys are so fast to post a reply, that they neglect to check their sentences and such!
